There's a nickel that is wedged between the woodgrain in my desk. I was really bored a few years ago, and all told it was already a pretty shitty desk, so I went to work with a swiss-army knife and now I can't get it out.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I dunno. There's a woman with a child on the front and it also says "2001 D". The back is showing the eagle. Oh well, maybe it's just a pretty common one.

Okay, I just checked Google and it seems to be one of those common Sacagawea coins.
Maybe common wasn't the right word, because they are hard to come by. Most of them are out of circulation now, sitting idly in people's collections.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

next to me is my purse, the only cash it has in it is a few quarters, the rest of my money is in the bank, which is not far from where I am either.

My debit card is in my pocket... I dont think I have any actually money on me though... just spent my last 3 dollars on a bagel and some milk.

I absolutely LOVE change though. I refuse to spend it and always put it in my 'Swear Jar', and if that gets full I put it in an empty milk gallon. I'll save it for so long, then people wonder where the extra $400-$800 dollars come from. I think its great, because there's no immediate impulse for me to spend it.

There's two coins on the desk in front of me right now. One is a 10p from 2001 which is entirely average in every way. The other is a 20p that is a bit more shiny than average, and it's from 2003.

I like small change. I regularly have as much as £10.00 or more in small change just laying around. You never know when it might come in useful for vending machines, or public transportation. Both of which are extremely fussy about taking paper money for small amounts in this country.

1980 dime beside my TV.

I loathe small change. Bills, I am always reluctant to break up, but even if I had like $20 worth of coin, that makes me tempted to waste it on DDR or drinks, instead of saving up for video games or drinking at home/from water fountains.

A five franc coin from switzerland, and one of those old two-dollar bills. I've also got a one dollar value poker chip from the River Rock Casino that I found on the street. Not necessarily a coin, but definitely one of my more favourite circular objects.

I personally hate carrying around anything smaller than dimes. Too useless. I hate handling tiny coins, so I usually just carry quarters, loonies and toonies.

A $20 and a few ones in the wallet near me. I tend to carry change with me as well and sometimes I actually use it to pay since I don't like having too much change with me.

I rolled a bunch of change yesterday, so the only money I happen to have nearby is a $100 bill in my wallet. It's left over from Christmas though, so that's sadly not a common occurence. I generally try to keep $20 bills and $1 bills with me since they're easy to keep track of without being large enough to worry.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I don't see any cash or coins near me, but I have my Best Buy credit card in front of me since I just activated it in the most excruciating activation process ever. Does that count?

Edit: Found a nickel in a container near me: 1990. No joke.

About £5 left over from last week. My wallet being on top of my (rather worrying) bank statement. I hate small change. As in with a deep, heartfelt loathing kind of hate.

I have a U.S. dollar in my right outer pocket, and a $2 coin from Mexico in my inner pocket.

I have no idea why but I see Mexican money everywhere around here.

I got a 2006 penny laying around the computer desk. I don't mind carrying loose change, but whenever I do, I have to spend it on a drink or a bag of chips.

The closest thing I have is a 2002 dime, which is on my desk. Not too far from that is my wallet with various US bills, coins and, of course, the credit card.

Sweet! Just found out I got two nickels and a dime in my drawer at my computer desk! I should hide money there more often so that I have money when I need it in a pinch.

When I get a weird or new looking coin I keep it for a while but I always like to have my money rolling. There's a dollar note that dad gave me from his first trip to the US, its still there.

About $10 in small change sitting on a shelf of my puta desk. Every few days I empty my wallet's change pocket of everything but a few $1 & $2 coins, the rest goes on the shelf. Usually gets spent on a pizza or some other form of takeaway when I can't be bothered cooking.

Lots of 5p, 10p and 20p coins, all on top of a 10 pound note with a huge rip in it.

The closes piece of money to me right now is a 1 peso coin (Philippine Peso) that is a 2003 series.

Small change? Its all okay, I usually keep the small ones at home (50 centavos below), while the 1 peso and up change, can stay in a jar or a container where I can save em up for emergency purposes.

Let's see, that would be my bag of quarters for laundry. Running a bit low relatively since each wash takes $1.50 and each dry cycle takes $1.25.

As for having small change, I don't mind having it but usually, I have a shit ton of it and it just stays in my wallet or overflows into my pocket.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

If I was at my girlfriend's house right now. I'd be able to tell you about her change pile. It's seriously the biggest pile of change you ever saw in your life. I never counted it, because it's her money, but I'm certain there must be about forty pounds there at any given time. All coins. Mostly 1 pound or 2 pound coins, but a substantial amount of smaller coins too.

I have no idea why. She just says it's handy to keek change around for the bus, but surely that's ridiculous. I completely forgot about that when I made my last post, but surely it's worthy of comment. One time when I was visting I managed to upset the stacks, and that was chaos. Coins went literally everywhere. It took a while to pick all that up.

The more I think about it, the more I realise I could be underestimating this pile. It's huge.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
