Damm, that's just sad.
However if you want to put a positive light on it, James would be joining the lord on his (ceremonial) birthday. Still, we have lost a singing legend. Rest in Peace and Funk. There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm sure he'll be survived by his many illegitimate children. This is a sad loss of a very talented man, who made millions happy with his energetic and up-beat music.

There is some comfort in the way he died. Being hospitalized one day and passing away the next is certainly not the worst kind of death.

I actually stopped by the memorial on James Brown Blvd after eating today. It was decorated, and people were getting pictures with the statue.
