As funny as it is, I think back to WCW, when The Cat danced with him at one of their PPV's.

A terrible and rather sudden loss for sure.

Being from South Carolina, this will probably headline papers for the next week.

Its weird. Hes an icon. We have a James Brown music festival every year for crying out loud. Its almost unbelievable that hes gone. Rest in peace.

RIP James Brown. "I feel good" was one of my mother's favorite songs. I didn't know him or his discography too well, but he'll surely be missed by millions of fans and dedicated listeners from his shining era. I can't imagine what his family is going through - for them to have someone die 1 am christmas day.

Hopefully people won't start wise cracks with the old L.A. Street song too so-

I feel bad that he died, but the guy did go kinda nuts. Wasn't he the one who beat up his wife a few times and got that ugly mugshut a few years back?

well, despite what he did in life, god rest him, he brought us all a wonderful gift of music, and he'll be well remembered for it

I woke finding the unpleasant news and was immediately saddened. The world has lost another great musical pioneer. RIP James.
