Yea, UT 99 is my favorite deathmatch FPS of all time. It's also possibly my favorite FPS of all time. Everything just seemed more fast paced than it does in the other 2. Also the maps were much better, and it was just more fun overall.
There's nowhere I can't reach.

I loved the map selection and the weapons in 99, but I loved the gameplay choices and the vehicles from 2004.
If all you want is fast-paced action, you should go back to Quake 3. That game still reigns supreme in my eyes as the fastest, most hectic FPS on the market. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I played Quake 3, but just couldn't find the same fun in it that I found in UT. I did see this INSANE video. I think it's called Annihilation. They had people with such good accuracy, that they would shoot you with a rocket launcher, then shoot a rocket into the air in the direction that the explosion throws you. Pretty freakin insane...
How ya doing, buddy?

I'm an UT fan, and i must to admit, like a lot of ut players actually, that the trailers worry me.
little gift, the best frag movie in my opinion, about the 2k4 era : http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...0&q=finnish+it I was speaking idiomatically.
