European USB ports
This might seem like a silly question. Will USB devices here in North America work the same if they're used on computers in Europe? I was just wondering because I know they use 220V over there. I didn't know if that would affect anything or not.
I'm going to Italy and I may want to transfer some pictures from my digital camera to the computer to email or transfer then to some USB drives. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
USB is the same no matter where you go.
Hence, "Universal Serial Bus." There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I don't think computer hardware has any differences regarding voltages to begin with, you can just take a computer from the usa, change the power unit to a 220 one and it'll work fine in Europe. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
