Post-count average
I've noticed that one's average posts-per-day is NOT calculated daily (i.e. by calendar day). I see that mine has changed in the last half-an hour. I made a post, and saw that my average was 12.67. Then a few minutes later, it dropped to 12.60.
Is it calcuated hourly (or even minutely)? That's kind of cool. Has it always been like this? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
The numbers are updated hourly.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Thanks bobo
![]() But I could've sworn I'm seeing changes by the minute. My average is different from what it was five minutes ago. Most amazing jew boots |
Sorry about that... they are calculated on-the-fly.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
That's cool.
(Was it like this in the past?) I was speaking idiomatically. |
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's always been the same. You're just noticing it more now because at the moment every post you make is affecting the average. After a couple of weeks it'll stop moving so much. It starts falling from being equal to your post count after exactly 24 hours I think, so it'll stabilise itself soon.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
That's true. The average fluctuates easily at this point, since it's been only two days.
But I find it cool that the figure is updated automatically (even when you don't post anything or are inactive, the average is still calculated on-the-fly). FELIPE NO |
