Christ man, expound a little. You turn it into a list and we'll slit your throat. Or at least let Skills fuck with your profile. Something.

Personally, I was surprised by how much I've been enjoying Dragon Age. I really thought I'd be underwhelmed by it, given how lackluster I found Mass Effect (Choose your own adventure boring etc). But DA really does have that Baldur's Gate feel, and the world they created is quite strong. I stand as an advocate of it (so far. Four hours in.)

I also recommend you give that flash game they made a try. Interesting story plus rewards in game.

Not technically a purchase but a mate gave me GTA: Episodes from Liberty City for 360 as a get weel soon present (And because he has a PS3 and wouldn't get to play the expansions otherwise). I had no intention of buying the episodes myself as I thought GTAIV was pretty dull but as I have them it'd be rude not to play them now. Should make a change from all the Sacred 2 I've been playing although I did have plans to clear my backlog which this hasn't helped at all.

Past 2 days, I bought Dragon's Age, Assassin's Creed 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

DA is ballin' but I'll play that after AC2 (same old gameplay but a tad prettier, more weapons and armor pieces) is done. As for L4D2, I'm up for multiplayer if anyone wants to play. Otherwise I'll play it sparingly.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Picked up the God of War Collection yesterday. Oddly enough the release date was on Wed instead of Tues, I guess it was cause of AC2 being out on Tuesday. Worked out for me anyway since I got back in town yesterday. Time to start gettin' dem trophies.

Also pre bought Lunar: Silver Star Harmony.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

That new red case for New Super Mario Bros. Wii looks BALLIN on my game shelf.

Also grabbed [ie: downloaded] Dragon Age for PC just to see if it would run, and to give it a quick test play. Looks awesome so far.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Seriously people. There's a shortage of quality games in the fucking industry. Try supporting them when they crop up.

I wish I can get it, but 59.99 CAD is just too much for me right now. What happened to Wii games being 49 or even 39? Now Wii is 60$ and PS3 is 70.

Ouch, Canadian money.

Picked up Left 4 Dead 2 the other day. The game is amazing and so much harder than the original. I'm having a blast with the game playing with some of the Backloggery members I chat with.

Hopefully you'll go out and buy it like I did recently. It's one of the few games out there worth the full price and possibly then some. And I never fucking say that.

Oh, I fully intend on picking it up next payday. I just wanted to give it a quick test run before spending $70 on it. That, and I wanted to make sure my PC could actually RUN it. At this point, I'd rather play that type of game on PC than on a console.

Speaking of which, how IS the console version, control-wise?

Ouch, Canadian money.

Can You Run It

Plenty of places to check if it runs.

As for console controls, the PC wins hands down. Definitely. The PS3 and the PC seem to be more or less on par in terms of graphics, but the Circle Box is a real step down from both. I've played it on PC and console, and although I miss the PC controls, I wouldn't recommend anyone away from the console versions. They're still smooth and very usable. Just not quite as slick as its PC counterpart.

Did a bit of shopping since the last time I posted in my thread.

Starting from the top-left, going clockwise:

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Charming and very funny. However, I'm also on the sentiment that the game has too many characters who have speaking quirks. You'd think one or two toads or something would speak normal goddamn english.

Phantom Brave: We Meet Again
Phantom Brave is definitely showing its age, both with graphics (looks like ass on my tv) and gameplay (still pales in comparison to Makai Kingdom). I like the tropical setting, however, and I still haven't beaten it.

Rygar: Battle of Argus
Just a slightly-enhanced port of the Rygar on PS2. That itself was a pretty good action title, but I have no idea why they decided to "update" Rygar's appearance. It looks like utter garbage.

Baten Kaitos Origins
I didn't have any patience for card-type games in the past, but, feeling that I had a more open mind about them now, I picked up Origins. It's a prequel, so it felt like I could play this for a better understanding of the original.

Brutal Legend
The demo is soooo misleading. I was under the impression that it was an action game, but then it suddenly changed into an RTS. Certainly not a bad thing, just unexpected.

Borderlands
If Fallout 3 was 70% RPG and 30% action, this is 30% RPG and 70% action. Just got into the Dahl Headlands and finished off Skagzilla. Great, so far.

Left 4 Dead 2
Bought it at the behest of my Gamestop manager friend, I've spent most of my time playing it with her or Colonel Skills and his usual suspects. Some great times to be had, I must admit.

"C'mon, we're at 8 [of 13]. Only two left."
"....Yyyeah, I wish I could count like that."

The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road
Extremely endearing and even a bit heartwarming. I think the character interaction, while minimal, was handled very well. Good stuff, even if it's a bit too straightforward.

Not pictured:
Disgaea 3
Dragon Age: Origins
Gyromancer (due to it being a download)

Thanks for the info. As for that System Req Lab, I've NEVER had luck with that site. For some strange reason, nothing I've EVER tried will make it work on my PC. It's just weird. :/

I see basically negligible differences. PC is better though because of the old school camera angle choice and mods. I went 360 though because of crap computer.

Rented Assassin's Creed II from Gamefly, but decided to keep it, and with two coupons they gave me it ran me about $35.

Took advantage of some awesome Amazon deals, getting Left 4 Dead 2 for $39, along with Gladiator on Blu-ray for $10.

Over the course of the steam weekend deals, I got quite a few. Knights of the Old Republic for $2.50, Ghostbusters and Trine for $10 each, Mirror's Edge for $5, and Section 8 for $25.

Not a bad haul.

Here's my purchases from the Steam sales~

Arrived in the mail yesterday. Great fun, although I'm disappointed you no longer can see your lower body. I liked that little detail about L4D1, brought that little bit more immersion to it.

The following have been shipped and should arrive soon

And while play.com's release date has already passed, they still list it as pre-order, so I'm assuming it'll ship soon:
