Recently got Final fantasy 8 from jPSN so I can brush up on my kana before FF13 comes into view.

After watching Arnie Roth play those FF songs, it really got me into this game again.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I couldn't possibly hate you more than I do right now.

Even if you ate babies.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Bought Morrowind, KOTOR and Dark Forces on Steam a few days ago.

Morrowind is great, KOTOR doesn't launch, and Dark Forces is a fucking explosion of nineties nostalgia. Frightening to think it's almost fifteen years old now.

Instead of 13 new dildos and one xl sized buttplug, burgundy, for this weekend I bought something equally painful to the ass.

There's two factors in play here.
Number one: Sigma 2 is supposedly good.
Number two: I suck, in a weak OCDish kinda way. Can't play just the second one.

I'm not particularly surprised by my own behavior, just last weekend I played through Uncharted because of the overly hyped 2nd installment.

And this is why I can't play FFXIV, see ='D

I was speaking idiomatically.

Also, in traditional music-game fan fashion, I got DDR X2 and Hottest Party 3.
Awesome job getting the same game twice! According to my friends, X2 has the worst unlock system they've had in a while. What the fuck is this Dice Master Mode and this level-up bullshit?

But I got a rather nice haul today.

Suikoden II... Sadly missing a manual, but the game is in superb condition. Black Label copy of Final Fantasy VII as well. All discs are in amazing condition as well.

All for $85. Bought them off a friend who was selling them. I could try my luck with finding the instruction book later though, but I'm not too worried at the moment.

There's actually the ol' MAX route to unlocking shit if you don't wanna do that stupid-ass Dice Master Mode. Simply play almost 500 songs, again, accumulative between Standard Mode, Endless Mode, and possibly Dice Master Mode all together. Not sure about Course or Battle Modes helping towards it, because I didn't play either of those modes, just Standard and Endless. I have just about 300 songs played.

Also, there are some high differences in the 2 games. Wii version got more Licenses than X2, but also, X2 brought the GR Specials to the US CS library, as well as the eternally damned Pluto The First, adding a Challenge chart with shock arrows. But eh, close enough to being the same game twice, I suppose. Wouldn't be surprised if the PS3/X360 versions releasing at the start of next year pulled the same shit.

Got Uncharted 2 last week and had a great time playing through the campaign. Was thoroughly amused. Now I'm just burning away some time in the multiplayer which I'm also having a great time with (though not too impressed with their matchmaking system).

I was going to pick up Brutal Legend sometime in the next few weeks, but I'm going to plow through a few games I have in reserve first.

Finally went ahead and got some points to buy Shadow Complex. I'm REALLY enjoyng it so far. So reminds me of both Metroid and Metal Gear games... A Metroid game like this would be amazing. [Where are you, Other M?]

I'm tempted to pick up Katamari Forever and/or the new Ratchet and Clank Future, but they're fairly expensive cause they're new, and I can't quite justify it cause I just started on the first R&C:F.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Of course you can't register the game, or get any of the free in-game bonuses because Bioware's site is fucking terrible, but... yay?

How ya doing, buddy?

Anyone had any problems trying to install the PC version? Mine says the setup.exe file is broken and that reinstalling should correct the problem. :/

My friend got the PS3 version and he had a fucking terrible time getting the shit to install. (I dunno how it is with the PC version) But he had to create an EA account and then access the codes from going online with the game (and not the website) to download the bonuses. I thought he was going to break my keyboard and mouse trying to figure everything out.

At least Brutal Legend's DLC was easy...

Actually, it seems like my DVD drive might be failing me. The game's installing just fine on my roommate's computer. Anyway, thanks for the quick responses everyone. I'll probably check the forums just to see what's up anyway.

Goddamn games are supposed to work when they're launched, right? DLC and patches have made developers a little bit lazy; at least it seems that way.

More than "seems", you're 100 percent correct. Borderlands shouldn't have launched either with the few game destroying bugs it has in it.

Devs would rather launch a broken game than lose face by pushing the release back a month. Nevermind that launching a broken game doesn't exactly improve their image.

Also, I bought Dragon Age for 360.

How ya doing, buddy?

Too bad it doesn't work properly. Disadvantage to working for EA: Everyone now thinks you're shit at your job.

Fuck yeah, Snake Eater. This game seems to be the least liked in the series, but I thought it was the best by far.

I only saw the trailer for MGS3, now that I bought it I get the chance to play it I'll have to finish a few games first as Im quite busy with other PS2 titles. I dont doubt it for a second, looked great on the trailer, and it'll probably be better when I get the chance to play it
