Since you're going to be taking off on vacation pretty soon, are you going to have a chance to take a turn this round Shin, or should the turn pass on to Hawkeye?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Hawkeye, your turn, since it looks like Shin's trip plans have caught up with us, and its been three days since Pang posted his turn.

I was speaking idiomatically.

got it - won't be taking the turn tonight though, on account of if i did our civ could be annihilated and i might take a passing interest at best. Hopefully i can find time tomorrow morning.

EDIT:

the turns are over, not a lot to report. Had some weird hijinks to the south trying to take the barb city (for some reason our warrior thought he could take on 2 entrenched longbowmen singlehanded), didn't quite get it but it shouldn't be tough for us to capture it at our leisure. Finished alphabet and Horseback riding will be done as soon as Araes turns over the calendar.

game's in the mail Araes - your turn awaits.

Fairly uneventful turn on my end as well. Created some more troops to deal with the barbarians on our island, and while I was doing so the arabs landed on our landmass and made a city.

About half way through, we got another Great Person Priest, and I used him to make the other religious temple structure we hadn't created yet, the Kong Miao.

As the turns come to a close, I still haven't had a chance to rid the island of the barbarians yet, as they have longbowmen, although our Trireme has been taking care of the high seas.

Save for the current turn can be found at AD-1715.CivBeyondSwordSave

Honestly, I'm thinking that we may just want to call the game, as I'm fairly certain that this is unwinable from where we are. Elizabeth is finishing up riflemen right now, and the barbarians are more technologically advanced than we are.

Yeah, I didn't want to be the one to say it but I think we've been screwed for a while. I'd also vote to just shutter this one since it's totally hopeless.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
