Looks like Sgt. Slaughter and Ron Simmons both got the axe today. Slaughter's really surprises me. Then again he's been nothing but a jobber for a long time now and even though there was that APA reunion "tease" all Ron Simmons did was just pop out and say DAMN! every so often.

I agree and it may be that will happen for the upcoming HOF. Heh, if only you had a server for that stuff Sonic.

And we say good-bye to another long-term WWE employee. Bob Holly is gone.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
So apparently Randy had an altercation with a fan. The fan said something bad to Orton, in which Orton responded with some bad language of his own and shoved the guard rail into the fan's legs. One report even said he also grabbed the fan's hat and threw it. Ouch. Not a good thing given how Orton is suppose to be the professional and everyone is saying he has totally changed for the better.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
At least he didn't shit in a diva's bag this time.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
rofl, nothing will happen to Orton. Not a damn thing. If something did, I'd be surprised. This isn't the first time he had an "altercation" with a fan recently but we'll see how this turns out.
Interesting... I guess that's another way of keeping Vince off TV for a little while longer. I also find it kinda funny the whole "On your knees" bit with Jericho was added from the fans. I could tell Steph and Vince were having a big chuckle out of it and even Jericho was trying not to let a smile come across his face. Raw was... better. Not great, but it was better than it had been in a while. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
And I guess you're right dagget given that Orton kicked Vince in the head. Well, unless they are doing a clever "suspension".

So there's this rumor going around about No Way Out's PPV.
Spoiler:
Dunno how that would work out, but it'll be interesting if it comes true. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
That would be...weird. It would be a neat way to unify the titles though and include top contenders for the titles. In fact, it would be really neat if they had all three "world" titles, and all three "number one contenders". Could really make a star if one of the number one contenders unified them all.
Prediction time: 30 Man Royal Rumble Match Winner earns a World Title shot at WrestleMania 25 - Confirmed names: The Undertaker, Triple H, Big Show, WWE U.S. Champion Shelton Benjamin, Vladimir Kozlov, Kane, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, World Tag Team Champion The Miz, World Tag Team Champion John Morrison, Finlay, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Santino Marella, R-Truth, WWE Tag Team Champion Carlito, The Brian Kendrick, The Great Khali and Chavo Guerrero: There are seven spots open. Now, most feel Orton will win and honestly he is the best bet over everyone. My feeling? Well, see my thoughts below regarding Cena/JBL, but perhaps two of those surprise entrants are 1.) Christian and.....2.) Jeff Hardy. Christian would be unlikely because they'd set the 'getting revenge on Christian' angle off way too early. however, it would be shocking to see Jeff, who lost the title earlier, come out and win the Royal Rumble. And given how Jericho won his title in September, how an injured Bret Hart managed to co-win the Rumble in 94, and how they could give Jeff a late number, they could make it plausible. They could even then have Jeff stupidly giving up his title shot to go for Christian while having Triple H win the Elimination Chamber and hence a title shot. Winner: Jeff Hardy World Heavyweight Championship Match - John Cena (c) vs. JBL: They are playing with this a bit. Personally, I'd rather see JBL win the title IF it meant HBK beat him for him. HBK has a year left to go (according to himself). However, signs are pointing to Cena Vs Orton. I guess that's fine, but 1.) that has been done while HBK Vs JBL in a singles match is fresh, 2.) neither Cena or Orton need the title to their match, 3.) this would mean that a heel challenger would defeat a face champion for the first time on Mania since Wrestlemania 9 (and even then they had Hogan beat Yoki immediately afterwards to send the fans home happy), 4.) if they didn't have Orton win, he'd look like a chump. I could forsee it being Orton wins, then whoever wins MITB immediately challenges him and beats him for the title. That would be unexpected. At any rate, despite the fact that the WWE is pointing towards Orton Vs Cena, I forsee a few sudden "surprises". Winner: JBL WWE Championship Match - Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Edge: The world title matches (minus ECW) and the Royal Rumble are the hardest to call. I would MUCH rather see Jeff hold onto the title for a little longer so his title reign isn't seen as a 'fluke' or one of those 'give the dog a bone' things. However, him losing it at NWO and then Edge losing it to Triple H at Mania isn't good for the title either. I'd MUCH rather see Jeff hang onto the title till Mania but with the recent happens, it seems the WWE has other plans. Look for a screwy finish with PERHAPS the return of Christian. Winner: Edge ECW Championship Match - Jack Swagger (c) vs. Matt Hardy: No way Matt is going to win it here. Winner: Jack Swagger WWE Women's Championship Match - Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Melina: This isn't Melina's time. Yet. Candice Michelle has supposedly been trying out a heel turn on house shows so if that goes through, that then leaves Melina as the top face. However, that's if Beth doesn't turn face too in which in my opinion, is inevitable. Winner: Beth Phoenix Jam it back in, in the dark. |
This has nothing to do with predictions...but we know Umaga is returning tonight.
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
Prediction time, eh? The Royal Rumble is definitely my favorite PPV event, with Wrestlemania coming in at 2nd. I'll give it a shot.
WWE Women's Championship Match - Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Melina: From what I've seen, that fan of Beth's will interfere thus costing Beth the match, but not the title. Winner: Melina, via DQ. ECW Championship Match - Jack Swagger (c) vs. Matt Hardy: I don't follow ECW, but I know that Swagger is still undefeated. I don't forsee him losing here. Winner: Swagger WWE Championship Match - Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Edge: I just don't see Jeff losing it here since he hasn't held onto it long enough. Jeff will pull off the victory here, but then get brutally attacked afterwards. Winner: Jeff by pinfall World Heavyweight Championship Match - John Cena (c) vs. JBL: There is no way Cena is coming out on top in this one. I feel that HBK will have little involvement in this match. The ref will get knocked out, HBK will Sweet Chin Music Cena, then try to revive the ref. By the time the ref gets up, JBL will deliver the Clothesline from Hell on Cena and pin him for the win and the title. This sets up my last pick. Winner and new champion: JBL 30 Man Royal Rumble Match Winner earns a World Title shot at WrestleMania 25 Seven surprise entrants, so we could be expecting some hall of famers making appearances in the Royal Rumble. You could see people like Goldust knocking Cody Rhodes out of the Rumble. Cena will enter the Rumble at #29 and the crowd will go crazy. As the timer counts down to #30, you'll hear HBK's music hit. HBK has entered the Rumble in one of two scenarios: 1. Without JBL knowing so he can main event Mania. 2. JBL ordered him to enter the Rumble so Cena doesn't have another shot at him at Mania (but he might at No Way Out). It will come down to HBK and Cena, and HBK will eliminate Cena making it the third year in a row for #30 to win the Rumble and HBK will go on to Mania. Winner: HBK. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

So, word on the street is they are quickly setting up Randy Orton's wrestlemania program against...
Spoiler:
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

Basically, both those names failed.
Hedoesn't wantt o work with Hogan because he feels that it won't be a good match. They were thinking of a Rock Vs Austin reunion match and contacted the Rock in which the results were basically a 'no deal'. Normally, I'd throw this rumor into the wind but it supposedly came from the Wrestling Observer which is probably as "legit" as rumors go. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
So...um...there goes Jericho?
Report from a fan who saw Jericho go ballistic after being shoved/attacked/provoked by some fans that included him shoving fans out of the way, punching a couple in the face, punching one woman in the face, getting into the arena security's faces and shoving them as well. The woman who got punched in the face is pressing charges against Jericho. "Here is what actually happened, as my girlfriend and I were literally 5 feet away from the altercation (the total incident was about 5 minutes) and saw the whole thing happen. Here's what happened: This afternoon after the WWE house show in Victoria, my girlfriend and I went to see the wrestlers leave the arena (this was my girlfriend's first WWE event and she wanted to see them leave). The following is exactly what happened right in front of me and about another 50 wrestling fans who happened to be there are well: Chris Jericho exited the building, and walked over to his white rental vehicle. The crowd watching him leave was heckling him, but he was ignoring it. He gets in his vehicle and drives out of the arena parking lot, right past the crowd of us. As Jericho stops at a stop sign, a fan runs into the street and starts banging on his rental vehicle. At this point about 50 people rush into the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic in several directions, with no police and very inadequate and incompetent security (no WWE security guards period). My girlfriend and I were literally in the very front of the crowd, and this all went down literally five feet away from us. Chris Jericho opens the door to his vehicle in the middle of the road, and the fan shuts the door back on him. Jericho then gets out of the vehicle completely, and punches the fan in the face! This prompts another fan to jump in (he was friends with the first) and attack Jericho, and Jericho scuffles with the second guy. At this point, a woman who knows the second guy who attacked Jericho starts to jump in and get in Jericho's face (because he was fighting her friend). This is where the Save on Foods Rent-A-Security Guards stopped standing around watching this happen (I swear they thought they were watching a wrestling angle or something), and stepped in to separate Jericho and the woman, who was shoving him. Looking at Jericho's face he was obviously ready to explode and was restraining himself...but then the shitstorm happened... He spit in the girl's face, and called her a "fu*king bitch". The woman then spit in Jericho's face. Jericho then started cursing out the woman some more, and was getting ready to go back into his vehicle (as all of this is still happening in the middle of the road). While he was turning to go into his vehicle, one of the guys he was fighting shoved Jericho against his car. Another guy then shoved Jericho, and that time he bumped his head on the top of his vehicle. This was where Jericho seriously snapped. After bumping his head, Jericho went into a sh*tstorm, throwing and swinging at everybody around him. He knocked one guy to the ground, told another fan that he was going to "fu*king kill you". The woman who got spit on was still yelling at Jericho, so he piefaced her away from him (because the arena security couldn't keep them separated). As soon as he put his hands on the woman, ANOTHER fan jumps in and starts swinging at Jericho. Jericho grabs the guy and starts throwing him to the ground, and at this point I have to yank my girlfriend out of the way and into some other people because Jericho had literally thrown himself and the other guy into our direction and we would of been knocked down by the scuffle. The arena security try again at this point to regain order, and two of them grab Jericho and start yelling at him to calm down, to which Jericho responds by taking a swing at one of the security guards and yelling at them to "do your fu*king job and get the fu*king police here". Then he shoves the second guard to the ground and tells him to "stay the fu*k off me". Well, as that happens, the chick lunges at Jericho AGAIN, and this time Jericho actually punches the woman in the face, and shoves her to the ground. This stunned everyone, and the girl's friends ended up jumping in trying to fight Jericho, to which he fought all of them off, then storms into his vehicle swearing and speeds off, running through a stop sign in the process. This whole thing happened over the span of about 5 minutes (of the street being blocked by this ordeal), and the woman ended up calling the cops on Jericho. They arrived 5 minutes after Jericho left, complete with a Paddy Wagon. The WWE's head of security did not see the incident, so he was there trying to figure out what happened along with the cops at the same time while yapping on his cell phone, and the woman is pressing charges against Jericho. As crazy and unbelievable this sounds, it can all be backed up with whatever police report was filed on the scene this afternoon. I hope this made sense, as a lot of stuff happened. If you have any questions or need clarification, just ask. This was taped by several people with cell phone cameras, but there were only 50 people down there so I hope the video makes it way to the internet. Regardless, this went down as one of the craziest things I have ever seen in my life (even if it didn't involve Chris Jericho), and Jericho could be in some serious legal trouble over this one; although he was provoked, he seriously snapped and crossed the line." I guess we all have a bad day to say the least. Jericho was sorta in the right up to the point where he took a swing at one of those in security. The thing with the woman is unclear (the person said she lunged at her. Unclear as lunged can mean one is attacking another) but if it wasn't anything more than verbal than Jericho went over the line. Edit: I looked at one video and it looked like the one woman Jericho punched pulled him out of the car or tugged at him or grabbed him or something. If this is true, then in theory Jericho could say he was defending himself (think to the days of old when fans hid knives and the like). Jam it back in, in the dark.

Here's about a minute worth of video footage of the incident.
Based on what we know so far, the retards had it coming. A man can only take so much. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Well, generally, the protocol is a wrestler should never strike a fan no matter what they say about the guy. however, if a fan touches the wrestler, then the wrestler is allowed to defend himself/herself by reasonable means. Generally, they go a bit "overboard" in order to make sure no one else wants to join in.
Probably the biggest point will be whether the woman did grab Jericho or not. There is another video that shows a woman seemingly grabbing Jericho. I can't tell for sure though if her "lunge" (see above) really was her grabbing Jericho. Of course, supposedly he pie-faced her at one point but even that can be argued that he was trying to get some space. Sadly, fans that do this are stupid as they basically killed future WWE shows for the near future. Supposedly, their city has had a reputation with one fan attempting to attack Triple H after the main event in 2005, and a few others getting in fist fights with some referees. Ridiculous. My advice to the WWE....don't even waste your time with this city for the next ten years. My feeling on the result of all of this? I feel the woman should get nothing because she went overboard. Jericho though, shouldn't go untouched as he did go a bit overboard himself and have something like community service. How ya doing, buddy? |
These kinds of people are idiots. Its one thing to heckle but its another to do what they did.
I have to disagree with you though mortis. I don't think anything should happen to Jericho because if you think about it, if the cops actually did their job, instead of Jericho doing it for them, this never would have happened. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Well, my view could easily be argued against. Security (not the cops...) should have done their job, but Jericho took swings at them among others. While security was incompetent in this case, they shouldn't have a swing taken at them for that. So that among other things, I felt community service would be the best thing as it would be the "least" punishment.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
There's two angles of the video. The woman spit and punched at him first (from what I saw) and he did swing at her but I'm sure it was more of a "GTFO me" self-defense type of thing. I mean the woman and her boyfriend or whoever could have easily pulled a knife or gun on Jericho. It pisses me off to see this stuff because some people feel that they are "deserved" an autograph. Besides, didn't this whole mess start when some asshole jumped in front of Jericho's SUV and started beating on it? Then Jericho opened the door just to have that crazy bitch shut it back on him. But I dunno. Those are the people who think its real and take it serious and need to have a huge reality check.
Also:
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I mean seriously, If that was wwe staging something, they've vastly improved. But I was watching the video and the girl was like "Can I have a picture? Can I have a picture? Please take a picture" Then she lunged" FELIPE NO ![]() |
