Trouble with Windows Media Player classic
Hi there,
Whenever I wish to decrease the speed of playing from windows media player classic, it suddenly stutter and often it goes really fast and slow, plus the sound doesn't synchronize at the same time. Why is that? Incase if you guys know any other programs which is related to something I could edit video clips or wish to play properly so I could switch from slow or fast, it would be great! Cheers! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Anyone?
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
did you try to remove and install codec again?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I tried, and reinstalled everything again. Doesn't work at all.
I have also tried to use community codec pack or something, still... it gave me the same result. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Anyone guys...?

The only thing I can say is, upgrade to the latest version of CCCP and uninstall everything else.
Try downloading CCCP Insurgent to see what other playback packs that may be causing this. One thing though - what are the stats of your computer? My box can handle the latest PC games, but it can't really play any movie at double-speed and have video and sound synchronized all the time. Why would you want to play movies at half/double speed anyway? Most amazing jew boots

Hi there,
Well, right now I did format my computer, because I had some other issues. I tried to install the latest Community Codec pack, and still it gave me the same results. How am I supposed to check my other playback packs that may cause the problem? My specification of my computer is: AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ 2.41 GHZ, 2 GB DDR Ram and Geforce 8600 GTS. Actually, I don't really play so much games on my computer, so it doesn't even matter if the video and sound doesn't synchronizing at all. I'm actually trying to learn some guitar tutorial, but the person who is playin on the video do it too fast, so I can't catch up how he is playing, that's why I need to decrease the speed! FELIPE NO |
try to remove all codec installed then download MPC alone, after that open with it to play mpeg or wmv file,if still have same issues.will be possibility hardware.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Alright, I did.. and it seems like when I'm decreasing, it gives me the same results. It's not synchronizing the sound and the speed at the same time.
It wasn't like this before, but isn't there any other possibilites how to solve this issue? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Try a player that ostensibly claims to support slow-mo playing.
A cursory search reveals: 1. Sigma Player (freeware) 2. SlowMo Director (crippleware - plays 25% of the video/audio) There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Alright, this sucks badly! It seems like my video card is unstable! I guess I have to buy a new one, huh?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Where did you get the idea your video card was unstable?
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Oh shit... hahahaha! sorry, I read wrong! :P I mean, according to Ryu, I thought he said graphic card hardware problem! sorry, it was hardware problem.
Anyway, do you know actually know which hardware is the problem? I was speaking idiomatically. |
Did you try any of the software I linked to? I pretty much doubt it's hardware related at all.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I did, and it still gave me the same results. It wasn't like that before.
Do you think it must be something wrong with my software or something? FELIPE NO |
Yes, I think it might be a software issue, probably related to drivers. Update 'em. Or if you just did, downgrade 'em.
I don't expect it to be a hardware issue, not unless you're getting screwy playback on your normal movies at normal speed as well. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
it happen also when video in website like in youtube?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
RYU, I think he is trying to play the movie at one half the speed, so that he can learn how to play guitar. The problem for him is that the sound and the video are not together when he is playing at half or double the speed. It seems that he is not having any playback problems when playing the files at normal 100% speed.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
That is correct Zergrinch.
When the files are playing on 100 % normal speed, nothing is wrong at all. It's just when I'm decreasing. Do you still got any clues how to solve this problem? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
If the "Slowmo Director" software, which is actually DESIGNED to slow stuff down so you can learn guitar, doesn't work, I'm all out of ideas. Sorry.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Aaaah, this sucks...
Alright, thanks for the help though, I appreciate it guys! I was speaking idiomatically. |
