PSP (phat version)

Alright, my psp's battery converted to pandora, however it wasn't really working a while back because I thought I had bricked it. So I left it alone for 5 months and decided to check up on it once more so I installed the magic mem stick easy installer into the memcard and took me to a menu where I can convert it back to normal but it said "cannot open file".

Now when I installed a program (using my psp slim) called Despiertate del Cementario v5 into my mem stick, it installed stuff and I place it in the root of the memory card and turned on my phat psp. Now it started working again but its under 1.50 firmware now. Also, when I take out my memstick to turn it back off and on, The green light shows but the screen was black. However, If were to insert the memstick again, the menu would show up.

Anyone have a soluton to this? Thanks.

hmm.. Well I did do a double check. I think it might have to do with the eeprom. I deleted a few useless folders (backed up into my desktop) except for that little file. if I take it out, it wont work but if i put it back in, it'll work. Any idea where this eeprom needs to be ?

Ok. I came to the conclusion that the eeprom file I have has nothing to do with why the xmb shows up.. Even with the memstick being empty, It still works. Is there something wrong in the Flash0 files? I have nothing in my memstick. It only works if its inserted.

Thanks for the link but I dont think there's any place there that answers my question. Unless maybe I didn't really convert it all the way and I messed something up in the process.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Ahh..I lost my eeprom files when I converted my first battery to a Pandora. Tell me if you find a solution to reviving your battery!

That's the thing.. When I did the "despierta de la cementario v5" thing on my slim. It created certain files and when I inserted the stick in the phat psp, it was working again. O.o; Not gonna repeat myself so read old posts about it. Even if I were to remove the files from the mem stick, It would still work. Dunno maybe it was takin in the eeprom file from the slim battery.. Either way, it still works but I hate that I would need my mem stick just to have it work again.

Other than that, I might as well get a new battery along with a new face plate cause the one I got was fucking horrible.
