Motsognir was totally sapped. Out of breath, he grudgingly pulled hiimself to his feet, and knowing there was nothing he could really do, he tugged on the human's sleeve and muttered, "Fuck 'em up for me, boy."

The dwarf simply took a deep breath, slid to his right and delivered a nasty downwards hack at the zombie's shoulder. As he's done talking.

Bits of zombie were scattered across the room as the horde went about the business of chopping them up. A couple were left standing so I aimed another burst of flames at them, hoping to end this little encounter once and for all.

The remaining zombie keels over in a smoking heap, and at last the battle is over.

The dwarf wandered off and picked up his throwing hammer, pausing to kick the dust that was the wight he'd burned to the ground with kord's power earlier. He took the opportunity to get the lay of the room and get his bearings after the chaos of the conflict. In the mean time, he set his axe on his shoulder and struck a heroic pose while the camera zoomed around.

Motsognir wiped his brow, leaned against the nearest wall, and spent a whole lot of healing surges.
heal to full What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
With his adrenaline wearing off, so does the hitpoints.
"Ugh, me no feel good." Argumentus searches all of the rooms for trinkets and food, especially food. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Motsognir 28/1
Tucked in a tin under a moldering bedroll, Argumentus finds a single stony biscuit. How long has this lonely biscuit lay uneaten? It is a mystery forever. How ya doing, buddy? |
The dwarf took a wander up and to the left, looking to examine the room from whence zombies doth shuffle.

I'll take a look around the SW room, for neat shit or secret doors or what have you.
Also healing back to full health. Forgot to mention that part. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

With our enemies vanquished, I sat down on the floor to catch my breath. Once refreshed, I picked myself up and had a nose around the room, looking for any indication of why the undead had been stalking these halls, keeping an eye out for secret treasure, doors and so forth.

Now pleasantly healed, Motsognir followed behind Gabriel, thinking that if Gabe made an important discovery some of the party might confuse them.

Argumentus gnaws on the biscuit for a while, unable to penetrate its crusty outer shell.
Dissatisfied, he takes a nap and heals up. FELIPE NO |
Brigid's HP 25/4
Argumentus' HP 39/9 Bob's already at full health Searching the officer's quarters, Brigid discovers the etched outline of a secret door on the west wall. While a great deal of military gear is scattered about the three rooms, it's all thoroughly rusted and useless. The dead troops had been waiting here a long, long time before the party's unannounced visit. Most amazing jew boots |
"Woohoo!" I yelled, "Secret doors, how EXCITING!".
I was always a sucker for secret doors and ran to where the child had found the outline of a door, looking for the opening mechanism. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() ![]() |
I get out of the way while the garish city-woman commences with scrabbling at the door I found. If she wants to do my work for me, that puts my mind at rest. I'll just look around for loose debris or rocks I can use with my sling.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
The walls of the barracks are badly deteriorated and crumbling. Most of the rocks are too big for a sling, but Brigid finds a half-dozen serviceable stones.
Seeking a way to open the secret doors, Bob runs his hands over the surface of the doors in search of the mechanism. He presses on a particularly suspicious stone and it falls away, clattering down behind the doors. Bob reaches through the gap and turns the handle on the opposite side. Behind the doors, a short stairway leads back up to another set of stone doors that blend into the wall much like the doors Bob just opened. The doors have handles on this side, but anyone on the other side probably wouldn't realize the doors are there. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Argumentus comes out of his nap at the sound of opening doors. Opened doors lead to new opportunities, and new opportunities lead to things he can hurt.
Argumentus runs to join the pretty lady. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I sneaked up to the doors as quietly as I could, ignoring the racket that our fight and the opening of the doors must have made. I listened at the door and tried to peer through the gap between the doors.

The dwarf moved to stand at the base of the steps. Letting the elf woman do the sneaking. Since he sucked at it.
