Deleted videoprt.sys file, PC will not boot(blue screen of death)
I deleted the "videoprt.sys" file. Now I cannot even get to safe mode without the seeing the blue screen of death. Is there anything I can do to restore the file?
I am running Windows XP SP2 Professional. How do I use the windows repair utilility? I deleted that file because I kept receiving an error message saying videoprt.sys is not functioning or something. Now I know that was a big mistake. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. I'd like to get access to my files without having to reformat. Thanks. *I deleted it to the recycle bin, how do i restore it? How ya doing, buddy?

Hook hard disk up to external casing. On another computer, undo the deletion.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
this file for video driver try use ERD Commander 2007 to recover your file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
