So yeah, if you have the 360, then go ahead and get it for that. It'll be more stable, and if you can withstand the stuttering from loading times, the game will be much more enjoyable. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |

My shell always crashes when I exit Oblivion so I never notice if there's icons down there.. But I do have ffdshow installed. I wonder if that has a performance hit on the game?

Ya I get a million of those icons. If I put my mouse over them, it disappears though. Odd thing is, every time I exit the game, my game crashes. Odd.

Damn Grawl are you playing Morrowind. The screen looks like it. Just kidding.
Well it does kinda look crappy, but you are making do with it seems. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Terra: You got it in slightly the wrong order, but I figured it out and got in. Now I gotta mess with some dammed ghosts >_>
on with the mission! What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |

I'm pretty curious what Bethesda did to their screenshots on the site, since they claimed they weren't doctored or artwork yet look nothing like my game at *max* settings.
Can see a SS below of everything jacked up. The only thing you can't see in the shot is AA for some reason. No shots I ever take seem to include it despite it being on. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I found a FFDshow audio decoder fix! Here's what you do - go to the settings and disable mp3 decoding. Problem solved.

WoW I really want to get this game now... maybe It will get me out of Warcraft for a couple days.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

If anything does, it'll be Oblivion. ^^
By the way have I mentioned that I love this game? Because I love this game. KingdomHearts 2 you say. Who needs that? I've got Oblivion, Mwahahaha... *Yes, I know that I'm mentally unstable thank you very much.* I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

Well, I decided I should try sneaking and stealing items, so I went into a house in Cherydil (or whatever it's name is), stole some items, then left.
I'm also a vampire, and found out how to feed on people, so I fed on a beggar in the same town, and to my disappointment, he's not a vampire, he's just wandering around as normal. Is there a way I can remove the vampire effect and become normal again, as i'm currently running around loosing health rappidly because of the sunlight. Also, will I be able to become a vampire again in the future? I woke up from sleeping and got a note from the Grey Fox, which I suppose I should check out, and I also got a note from someone wanting some items I found. Great game so far. Awesome. Thanks Grawl. Will it be an IGN Insiders only thing once it's complete?

Funny how he totally ignores the guide I just posted, which covers it.
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
I don't know any sane person could look at a guide for this game. You want to have the most complete unpredictable experience and solve things on your own.
Maybe when you think you have practically did everything in the game and want to check. Then maybe. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
For the first or, yeah if you want to ruin the experience. For the second or, I said that in my earlier statement that you yourself quoted. 0_o
How ya doing, buddy? |
I bought the guide because I thought it would tell me where some item locations are just in case I got bored of searching the entire world on my own.
It doesn't tell you squat. By any chance does anyone have a screenshot of the imperial dragon armor? I heard it looks so badass, but I have yet to see it. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I bought it because I wanted to be able to witness time-specific events for quests. For example, for one quest, I had to wait for this chick to show up and do something. Before, I would've been like "wait one hour... damn. Wait one hour... damn. Wait one hour... damn," over and over again. With the guide, I just looked it up, did some math, and got it over with quickly and easily. =\
Actually, I wanted to buy it to ensure 100% in quests. But the use I mentioned before is actually what I use it for most often. *shrug* Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
Hi, I haven't played any of the Elder Scrolls games before. When you branch off from the main storyline does this game still act like you're in control or are sub-quests obviously set apart from the "main objectives?" I'd really like to demo Oblivion, but if it's as addictive as I've heard I'm afraid I might not be able to graduate from College. Most amazing jew boots |
You won't graduate from college. Although I have the ability to put Oblivion on hold even though its all I think about doing. I really don't know how.
And good explanation Magic. I just find that retarded. And when you are in the world of Elder Scrolls, you can do whatever you want at any time. There is never any limitations and you are always in control. Just be aware that there are many noobs who cannot handle such a game because there is too much freedom for them and they can't comprehend this. This happened with Morrowind, but is less likely to occur in Oblivion considering it's the best game of all time and they give you somewhat of a training in the beginning of the game. However, after that it is up to you to decide what to do. I think you played old Bioware games and the like so you should be be fine. Just either have the best PC out there now, or get the 360 version. Jam it back in, in the dark.
