YTMND doesn't work for me anymore. ALL audio skips and is really choppy. That includes refreshing and downloading pages then playing them. It's....weird.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I wish I can read dramatically like that guy who did the bauman emails. "THIS IS TRUE LUNACY!" that line gets me every time.

Why sound sometimes doesn't work in Internet Explorer:

PCM, CCITT A-Law, CCITT u-Law, DSP Group TrueSpeech(TM), elemediaTM AX2400P music codec, IMA ADPCM, Microsoft ADPCM, MSN Audio, GSM 6.10, etc. PCM is the most common, and should always be used for encoding sound.

Mozilla, Opera, everything else:

BGSOUND tag: not supported.
EMBED: as far as I can tell, the same behavior as Internet Explorer.

The real problem is, the majority of browsers aren't set up to play sound files in the embed tag; otherwise there wouldn't be a problem.
If you go to a URL with a file extension of .MP3 or .WAV, and the browser doesn't play the sound embedded in the browser, or has to pop something open to play it, it isn't equipped to run on this site.

TO GET SOUND WORKING IN FIREFOX/MOZILLA:

Install Quicktime.

Open Quicktime Player -> Edit -> Preferences -> Quicktime Preferences -> Browser plugin -> MIME settings

-X WAVE audo file <- CHECK THIS

-MP3
-X MP3 audio file <- CHECK THIS
