I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Seconded. I even used Touhou music as an example of an obscure game by "regular" gamers' standards with an (almost obnoxiously) well-known soundtrack among game music fans. I don't really think it belongs, even if I did give a point to it in the voting stage (but it's not like I'm gonna vote things down just cause they don't fit, I just judge the music).
I was speaking idiomatically. |
![]() Anyway, my next potential nom: My next (potential) nom:
Gun Viper is a freeware PC shooter with a phenominal orchestral soundtrack that I would like to nominate from. However, knowing the mind-boggling reputation of Freeware shooter music (Jesus Christ multiple games with the exact same songs the hell), I know that some of this won't fly with the eligibility crew. Main page: NAGA Homepage The music can be downloaded seperately in the download section. Manual: Team Mark-N Page Includes a link to what is apparently the BGM (composer's?) web site: MudiO Links: Team Mark-N Page Same as above, only with a thumb for it's front page. The site format looks to be similar. MudiO: http://homepage2.nifty.com/mudio/ Why am I so Forbidden The song: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (Megaupload link) The song loops, as does the rest of the soundtrack, and not in a poor choppy manner. The main problem here is that I have no idea whether or not the song was created for the game or not, and I don't know if it's even possible to find out. Could we let a nom in on the notion that a song is "most likely" composed for the game? Additional Spam:
I'm dead serious What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

FELIPE NO |
My post was referring to Crash's voting for AERITH'S THEME over Egg Rocket zone (My #1 nom) back in the BSC '06, despite being very vocal against the inclusion over the former. Why couldn't he have been more enthusiastic for it back then? (Not attacking you, Crash, just pointing stuff out) How ya doing, buddy? |
![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
After many intense hours of research and listening, I have finally managed to compile an extensive list of songs previously nominated in SotW that are indeed just as good, or even better, than Fly to the Leaden Sky. Included are said songs, and an in-depth analysis on why those songs are better. Spoiler:
How ya doing, buddy?

Based upon this theory, I will abstain from future nominations until such time as "Fly to the Leaden Sky" has passed voting. There is no sense marching into a losing war. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
