I think it might be black and red, ie. Shadow's colors.

Interesting update: It's the Ice Climber's Final Smash, Iceberg.



A big peak of ice rises out of the stage, hurting opponents and making the platforms smaller and slippery. The funny thing is is that the slipperiness of the platforms don't affect the Ice Climbers.

It says that sometimes opponents get frozen. I imagine that happens at higher damage levels, just like the Ice Climber's current B-down move in Melee sometimes freezes opponents at higher damage levels.

That's a nice final smash; if you use it on smaller stages it looks like its effects would be genuinely unavoidable. Even if it doesn't cause huge damage it at least puts every other character at a disadvantage.

I wish those of y'all who post the updates would only do so if you find the update interesting, so, y'know, we could actually get INFO without having to visit the site ourselves. I mean, we had TWO people post the update, with only the second one being a useful post. Some of us are staying away from the vids that haven't been released officially.

I was hoping that the "costume" change was actually something more than a color swap, I mean Samus in Fusion suit color looks great, but it would be awesome if there was a real suit change. (enough of dreaming)

The Kirby: Meta Knight’s Revenge it's ok ( and reminds me of MvsC2), but not for the Halberd stage. That stage needs something "darker". I wonder if they are going to add Kirby 64 music, because the Rock Star -1st stage has cool music, or the last stage just before the boss.

Firstly, The StarFox Smart Bomb. Think Banzai Bill from Princess Peach's Castle, just throwable.

And they could be duds this time.... Electrode is no exception.

Training mode is back. Runs about the same as Melee's, just more computers this time. Ike's colors are cool.
Oh, and they had some sort of new item in one of the other pictures... It's a soccer ball. <_<

Yep, everything Chaotic said is true, nothing really new about the Training mode. However, about the Smart Bomb, their explosions engulf a good portion of the stage, and the thrower is apparently also vulnerable to the explosion:



And, one more thing with the duds is that some may not explode right away but will sit there for a bit, leading people to believe they are duds, and then explode.

I'm also really curious to see how this soccer ball plays out:



I imagine that it's used to just be kicked into other players. Maybe you set it off by running into it and the harder you run into it, the father it goes and the harder it hits opponents?

One more thing I forgot to mention about yesterday's update; it looks like Ice Climber's Final Smash is going to take up the same ratio of stage space to stage size for every stage. In other words, the peak of ice will always cover, say 75% of the stage regardless of it's size. Look, New Pork City is a big stage, but it looks like most of the stage is taken up by the ice...



Compare that, and the size of the Ice Climbers to the size of the iceberg to these...





(The Ice Climbers are much bigger compared to the size of the iceberg in this last one.)

Yep, it's back. So we have Bob, Smart Bomb *and* the Gooey Bomb this time around. All we need now is the Proximity Mine.

I just really hope that the soccer ball is a hint towards Mega Man being playable (it's a stretch, but please Nintendo, of all third party chars, he really deserves it).

The item is really generic. And the two third-party characters in here seemed enough like a stretch. I really doubt that Megaman would make it in to here.

Today's update, color changes. What I don't understand is how you keep the Wario colors on Mario when Wario is in the game. <_<












Loving the Fusion Suit, LOVING the Dark Fox outfit, and YES, PIKACHU HAS A GOGGLE OUTFIT.

And that leopard print is not working with Snake.

From the looks of it, it seems most of those characters have a darker costume. Zelda looks like a witch in that picture above.

Snake...I've been partially blinded. Imagine if they put in all his suits from MGS3.
