Working in the TV-industry in America

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum, wasn't sure where to post this.
I'm just curious if there are anybody in here that are in the TV-industry...

Are there any specisic sites for work openings if I want to start working in this field? Or is it all about having network...?
The problem is that I live in Europe, which makes it even harder...

Jam it back in, in the dark.
Thanks to Fjordor for the funny image!

It would help if you specified which kind of work you are looking for and what qualifications you have.

In any case, you could always go looking for a job as a janitor, secratary or gopher boy in a tv studio, since jobs like that can sometimes be door-openers towards more important jobs.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Juggle dammit

I'll be totally honest with you, the chances of you getting a job in the American television are next to none unless you want to move to North America, and even then the chances are pretty damn slim you'll ever get a job in the industry. You need to have connections to get into this kind of thing, and it's pretty obvious from the existence of this thread that connections are something you don't have.

I was speaking idiomatically.
