I own it for the GBA, so this update is useless to me. It's good for the people who don't own it though. $5 for one of the greatest Mario games of all time? How could you turn a deal down like that?
Otherwise, no downloads for me this week. ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
So . . . does anyone else think that the zapper accessory will be used to make Zapper and Super Scope games available?
First one will be Yoshi's Safari. There's nowhere I can't reach. It was lunchtime at Wagstaff.
Touching butts had been banned by the evil Headmaster Frond. Suddenly, Tina Belcher appeared in the doorway. She knew what she had to do. She touched Jimmy Jr's butt and changed the world. |
If they ever have that, I am all over that download. I actually own the game itself for the SNES, but I never owned a Super Scope. It just collected dust.
It would be awesome to have that game available for download though. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
If they made the Wii Zapper compatible with VC games, the first one out would be Duck Hunt. Why lie?
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
If they do make games Wii Zapper compatible, just make that Monday full of Light Gun game releases. Duck Hunt AND Yoshi's Safari? Then just add in a third game or something.
How ya doing, buddy? |
That's a brilliant idea, hopefully Nintendo will follow suit. There's more games out there that are compatible with the Zapper and the Super Scope than I thought. Speaking of the Super Scope, there was a game that was bundled with it with 6 minigames. That'll probably be the third game.
I still have my Super Scope, but it stopped working years ago. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
There are maybe 10 NES/SNES games that used light guns and even if Nintendo has the rights to use them they'd have to be reprogrammed because the Zapper isn't even a light gun. You'd be using a red dot by pointing on the screen disjointedly with the Wii Controller or something which defeats the entire purpose of light guns. It wouldn't be authentic.

so no Bayou Billy?
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? It was lunchtime at Wagstaff.

I doubt it. Who made that anyway?
How ya doing, buddy? |
Konami.

I imagine they probably have better titles they'd rather focus on but who knows.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
And, yes, I own a Menacer. And yes, I regret it. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Didn't realize the Genesis had a light gun, but I guess it makes sense. However, the one that comes with the Menacer and the one titled "Super Scope 6" which was bundled with the Super Scope look to be two different games.
I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah Super Scope 6 was I think 3 games. One was a weird side scrolling tetris, the other was a shoot bad guys coming at you and I can't remember the third.
but there were 6 different um..difficulties or whatever Super Scope 6 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
You guys are right about the light gun though. Using it without anything on the screen gives you the more realistic feeling that you're actually doing the aiming. Putting a cursor on the screen would detract from that skill-based experience. FELIPE NO |
Two classic titles released today. Not bad either:
Axelay Konami SNES Blue's Journey SNK Playmore Volleyball NES I dont wanna know anything about volleyball but whatever. The other two were amazing. Blue's Journey (AKA Raguy) was addicting . Most amazing jew boots |
Do I sense Nintendo finally realizing the fact they made the SNES? Been a damn while since they even released an SNES game.
Pretty good choice though, Axelay was pretty good. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() Currently Playing:Persona 3, .hack//G.U. vol 3, Wild ARMs 3, and Phantasy Star Universe (360). I will beat a rod until a tank empties~ Chocojournal |
This week on Virtual Console US (11/19/07):
Wrecking Crew (NES) Super Air Zonk (TG16) Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) *sigh* I'm not too thrilled with 3D Blast. I'm kinda glad the VC updates are weak since there have been and still to come some good Wii games coming out this month. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
And cuz you're an idiot, people are gonna be on your ass because you didn't get happy about Super Air Zonk. I mean, it's ANOTHER BONK GAME how cool is that?
Also, you're an idiot. Most amazing jew boots It was lunchtime at Wagstaff.

I think if I changed his ava/sig to that early morning piece of crap Sonic the Hedgehog show that was unintentionally hilarious people might take SuperSonic a tiny bit more seriously.
How ya doing, buddy? |
And as cool of a name as Air Zonk is, they really should have stuck with the Japanese title of PC Caveman Series: CD Cyborg Rockabilly Paradise. No one, but no one, could resist buying a game like that. I was speaking idiomatically. |
This week on Virtual Console US (11/26/07):
Double Dribble (NES) Ecco Jr. (Genesis) Vegas Stakes (SNES) Ecco Jr. is the only game I've played for the Ecco series. I first played it and beat it back when the Sega Channel was around. It's a pretty fun game, but as for whether it's worth 800 points or not...that's up to you. How ya doing, buddy? |
Damn, I was about to do the weekly update myself since no one else had done it. Everyone must have been too excited by DOUBLE DRIBBLE to express their unbridled glee with mere words!
FELIPE NO ![]() |
Am I seriously the only person who's never played DOUBLE DRIBBLE before? I was way too caught in NBA JAM to even hear about what was the shit before it.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
