Man, this game is freakin' sweet. The second case has me scratching my head already, and the characters are extremely uh, colourful.

Spoiler:
I do hope that Edgeworth will appear later though! And I don't mean as a suspect or witness. Also, it's a little annoying at times that really obvious stuff isn't noticed by the characters right away. Come on, I can see the paint on the box, it's right there. Especially since you're walking around with Maya and Pearl AND Phoenix, and these three brainiacs can't even use their combined intellect to add up nothing.

The new music all over the place is neat too, it seems like they put quite a bit more effort into this game than Gyakuten 2. ALSO! I can't shake the feeling that the translators are having a lot of fun with this game, with all the "I've been fooled agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiin" and stuff like that.

Here's to hoping Gyakuten 4 DS is gonna get an English release soon!

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Fck, if only I wasn't so pulled away due to the frickin revue, I would've got up to case 4 by now. Ah well, there's always (the day after) tomorrow. The hemorrhoid jokes got pretty intrusive I reckon - apart from the inflammatory comparison to lawyer spirit which was pretty lol, but not quite a rofl.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I finished the game in like 3 days, with maybe 2 hours of sleep in between. Man, this is one incredibly well-written and awesome game. Love it so much.

Spoiler:
I thought the final case was a good end to the whole series, it sort of put the whole series in perspective. I can see why they wouldn't want to release another game with Phoenix in the lead role--how do you top that final case? I'm guessing that at some point in the future, we'll hear more about Phoenix's post-GS3/T&T adventures, though I've heard that GS4/Apollo Justice doesn't elaborate on it all that much...

Anyway I think it tied up pretty much all the loose ends and it made me feel really good, so yay!

Now to wait for Apollo Justice!

Wait how did you even play the game when it was released on August 23rd.. unless you played the GBA version. But anyways this game really is good, I've already read spoilers on GS4 and the story revolving around Phoenix is quite intriguing. Can't wait to play it once it gets translated and shipped over to NA and also rumors on GS5 coming out, gonna be fucken sweet.

I thought the final case wasn't that good... it was just a tad too stretched out and forced, not to mention totally far-fetched. My faves from each instalment now stand as 1-4, 2-2 and 3-3 -> that was just a perfect crime drama, not too long or short, and making perfect sense all throughout.

Lots of memorable quotes, though.

Spoiler:
Of course the victim was flying through the air!
You can see it right there in the sketch!

Japanese version has a full, final English translation. People are playing it either by importing or downloading.

Yeah I imported the DS version, with fast shipping! Flying it over, WHOOOOOOOSH! Honestly, I don't know how it got here so fast. But I'm not complaining.

The second one is generally seen as the weakest of the trilogy, but I actually really liked because it has some very dark themes, and sweet music. If you didn't play it, I don't think you'll truly appreciate what's going on in GS3, at any rate.

Preordered an hour or so ago. I was so happy when I preordered the first game from Capcom's website. =)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Just a notice, if you preordered the game at Gamestop (physical store) prepare for the possibility of utter disappointment.

Went in today to pick up the game and first the employee had no clue what game I was talking about and second he didn't pull out a keychain to hand over. I asked about it and apparently they only received 2 of the preorder bonuses and those were already gone by the time I got in. So now I'm left with just the game. While the game is the most important part and I am eager to play it, I hate not getting what I paid for (no sense preordering otherwise). Blegh, limited supply be damned.

But if you ordered from Gamestop (online) or Capcom then apparently you get the bonus anyway. Yay for you!

My laziness paid off for me in the end. I waited all the way until last Saturday to finally go and preorder the game, and when I did they only had one plushie left, and he went ahead and gave it to me then. Honestly, it's nothing special, but it is nice to have in addition to the game.

It's more of a key chain than an actual plush. Actually no it is a keychain.

It is squishy though.

I'm still waiting for my order to come in from Capcom... I pre-ordered it two months in advance and it's backordered.

I feel both good and bad about that, actually.

Same fucking here. :\ Sigh. I'm hoping on an email from Capcom that its shipped. Some random dude actually got one a few hours AFTER the email that it was backordered.

I just pray it doesn't take THAT long to get here.

I just picked up the game as well, and I didn't get the plushie either.

Oh well, whats the sense in pre-ordering if you don't get the extra bonuses that come with it. Its not the first time I've been disappointed by getting a pre-order and it certainly isn't going to be the last either.

If I really want the plushie that badly I'll eventually get it off ebay.

I've been playing the game so far, and I already through the first case. So far the game has been pretty good.

I liked the fact:

Spoiler:
You got to play as Mia Fey for the first case, which was wactually pretty cool. I only at the start of the second case, but the beginning was quite humorous especially after watching that guy fly through the air.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Speaking of that, I'm wondering why the hell these things are selling for so much on ebay. One sold for over twice the cost of the game, which is just fucking ridiculous.

I believe Capcom said if you can prove to them you did in fact pre-order the game then they will ship Mr. Wright to you in all of his tiny key chain glory.

All Gamestops//EBGames got more than enough key chains for the pre-orders. The problem is, usually the people don't bother to unpack them because they can be lazy and don't feel like opening all their boxes since they would have to stock the items.

Or they simply swiped the little dudes.

Also, for those that said they were having trouble with the discount code that was a gift from the previous Ace Attorney order... please file a report with our Customer Service and we'll help with giving you the discount right away.

Just an update - Received my Objection! plushie in the mail today. I mailed Capcom customer service with a picture of my reserve receipt about two days after the game came out so this is some pretty awesome response time for a big company.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

This picture of a My Little Pony represents my failure to review the Mix CD that was sent to me. Like this image, I am a shining beacon of shame and disgrace.

FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK

I JUST beat the first case (well it was like the 10th time since I whored out the fan translation of the game) and it tells me to save my game. Then my battery dies (it turned red but I thought it'd last for more than a half hour). Bleh, and I was all excited to play the second case. >:/

Yeah I just came on here to emobitch about how my battery died blahblahblah.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I hate when that happens.

When I was replaying the second game, I at the near end of the 3rd case. Just as the screen transitions to the save screen.

BOOM

There goes the battery.

As for PW3, I've been done with it for months and let another friend play it, who's on the 2nd case at the moment.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
