Tv Doesn't turn on

My tv doesn't turn on anymore. It's not a digital tv or anything; just a 1995 Panasonic tv. I opened the tv up and this was the bulb thing that was fried:

Anyone know what it is and if Best Buy would carry such a thing sell?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Looks like a fuse: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b2/Fuses.jpg

I guess you could get one, if you knew what fuse it was.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It is a fuse. You can get them at a hardware or electronics store, usually.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Replacing the fuse won't solve the problem. There usually is a reason why the fuse blows and if this problem continues to exist you only risk the life of the other components if you simply install another fuse.

How ya doing, buddy?
