Why are we arguing Dracula and Archie Bunker, anyway? They're both influential in their own way. The bigger question is, who did Buck Rogers influence, other than Daffy Duck?

The question is really your definition of "influential". If by influential, you mean he was a catalyst for spotlighting and reforming social problems, then Archie Bunker wins. If influential simply means how many people have heard of you, then Dracula easily wins. Y'know, it might've been an easier list to swallow if the authors hadn't tried to actually rank every single entry, and had just presented them all equally in some arbitrary order. I get the feeling they made up a 1-101 ranking and made it outrageous on purpose just to sell more books. Now you HAVE to buy a copy to see why Smokey the Bear is more influential than Superman.
