You can use the Clawshot to perform life-saving tether recoveries by aiming at available ledges.

It was difficult to aim in the previous game, but this time it automatically flies to the closest ledge, so it should be pretty simple to use.

Of course, it doesn't mean a thing if it can't reach its target...

Two points of interest here, the Gale Boomerang will be interesting but can be difficult to weild if your enemy is coming at you.

And the Tether recover mentioned here is also interesting. It said that it would shoot out towards the nearest wall, just confirming our suspicions that they made it a little better. Of course, the clawshot should be a lot longer than in the picture.

I hope that "but this time it automatically flies to the closest ledge" means that it grabs the edge, even if Link is below it, or at least at certain angle.

The boomerang is also interesting.And about the spin attack, charging it in the air will give more strength to the third jump?

Now if all previous characters get changes like this, then we will have some fun creating new strategies.

ANd Yet I just saw it on the SSBB Website. Quite interesting on how Petey comes back (though he should be killed like a virus). Also, who shot that Iron Ball? I don't think Petey has that ability.

Damn straight. Petey IMHO is one of the worst characters made for the Mario Universe. The other is Bowser Junior, who by the way needs to GTFO of my Mario games .

As long as we don't get characters like that in Smash, I'm fine, It is my only fear, just picture Brawl with all Mario Strikers/Tennis/Kart characters ...ewww =P

I'm also in favor of the Koopa Kids making a rebirth. Their potential was fiercely unrealized.

Diddy is a hit or miss with me also. I'm sure he'll move a hell of a lot better than D.K., but I can only imagine his power.

Being that Diddy Kong has had a starring role in multiple games (Donkey Kong Country 2 and Diddy Kong Racing to name two), I think it's well worth his inclusion. I think he'll be an interesting character to play as.

I personally love Diddy Kong. He's my favorite from the DKC series. I really hope Diddy has the same movement style he did in DKC. Donkey Kong in SSBM is really nothing like he is in the DKC games, and that disappoints me. I want Diddy to have his roll (running Y).

Watch Diddy's fighting style be just a port from all of Eddy's moves from Tekken.

All you'll ever hear is about how people were cheap and used Diddy Kong non-stop, like those pricks that used Oddjob in multiplayer Goldeneye.

Ooh, double update! Animal Crossing stage music sounds nice, and the voices at the end made me LOL a bit. Yoshi's Final Smash looks pretty godly as well.

I forgot to mention this here, but it seems that there has been a small leak and truthfully this one looks really Authentic.

Apparently there is a little leak of the Roster picture! Of course it's only a lot of question marks, but apparently, it seems that Luigi, Captain Falcon, and (what looks like him, I don't know) Gannondorf are all in the game. However, when I counted the number of space (50 in all) and compared them to the list provided by Wiki, it seems that every single character from the previous game can be included (Around 25 on their list right now). I hope that this is truly Authentic.
