So are you people concentrating on S-Links one at a time or are you trying to equally push all your acquaintances? Seeing how little time you actually have to spend, I'm beginning to think I should focus more on the S-Links I really need for my Persona.

I'm wondering if you get more "free" time to spend with friends later in the game. It's essentially one activity per day and then it's evening. Seeing how the day actually has a lot of unused phases, I'm hoping you'll eventually get the chance to do some more stuff in one day.
I've actually finished off two social links already... I'm done with the Chariot (Swim Team) and the Hierophant (Old Couple) ones. I have one of each in my team, but I haven't spent an exorbitant amount of time fusing Personas.

I've been keeping my social links about the same so far, though somewhat unintentionally. Most are around level 4-5, though I've focused a little more on the Strength and Magician arcanas. Strength because I like the Yuko sequences and Magician because I usually find those personas most useful despite hating Kenji.

6th Character and 3rd Block boss:
<3 Aigis so much. It's a shame that she's weak to Zio skills, so she can't really be used against the next boss after you get her.

The cheapest versions of those headphones/mp3 player I found were these:

Headphones (a lesser model, not the exact pair, but it looks just like the game's ones)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/cus...R2G4OK35NFN59N

MP3 player lookalike (no one has been able to find the "exact" player that he wears in the game)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/cus...ustomerReviews
Yeah, they look great, and I might even buy a pair myself, but they specifically state his headphones are these:

And the mp3 player is a blue/silver, which looks practically identical to this:

Unfortunately the mp3 player was only released outside of Japan in the color black, so if you want silver, you would have to import. There's a pair of the headphones I just showed on ebay, but they're expensive, and still cheaper if you bought through Y!JP.

In any case I want them both.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Just bought the game yesterday and played it for about 5 or 6 hours straight. It's certainly addicting, but I can't really pinpoint just how much I like it. There are certain times when I think that if it didn't have the amazing amount of style that it did, I'd feel a bit disappointed with it. I don't know if the other Persona games work this way, but I'm struggling to find the point of NOT being able to command your entire team in a turn based game. And I can't really tell yet if the amount of time you have to do things is balanced yet or not. It just seems like the game could be a tad more generous is all.

Besides the amazing art direction of the game, my favorite thing about it has to be that your main character seems to just be dying to be a prick but forces himself to be nice because he knows it benefits his late night monster fighting.

It's easy to forget to save in this game too, at least for me it is. Had some bad luck in battle and all of the sudden I had lost three whole days ;_;

Honestly, I don't know why I'm playing. I can't pick anything out and say "this is really great", but I feel strangely compelled to continue on. It's very odd.

That must mean there's something good about it you like.

I'M FINALLY STUCK!

Ok, any tips on that Emperor Boss on floor 59 (or 57... Whatever..)? I know as far not to use Yukari in there since Garu is completely useless against the boss. I'm thinking whether not I should actually grind before I do this battle. God damn level 18.

Look back at posts #158-160 for advice on that boss. He's a tough one, especially with that stupid Hama.

Aye thanks.

And anyone who read that whole 3rd block thing I said on the last page, I didn't realize I was still on the 2nd block. <_<

I assumed every huge staircase with a document went to another block. XP

Anyway, I should remember to use tactics in battles... I completely forgot about them.

Also has anyone noticed the typo on the Persona 3 box? The game calls for 67 MB to save one file on the game.

67 MB.

I'm on Floor 59 boss also, average party level is 15. Anyone else think the 2nd Full Moon event was insanely cool? I hope the game keeps up with the surprises, and I gotta admit, this is by far the most unique RPG I've played on a console yet.

I'm kinda upset with Elizabeth though. Her request for a Valkyrie with Tarukaja ability is a pain. Every persona combination I use to make a Valkyrie turns out with Auto-Tarukaja, which she doesn't recognize.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

If you just keep selecting the same personae for the fusion (and one of them has Tarukaja of course), it'll cycle through the spells for Valkyrie until she has Tarukaja. It doesn't work with every spell on every persona though.

So anybody run into the Reaper yet? I retreated so fast after crit'd Junpei for 600. You start hearing chains rattling on the floor, I'd get out of there. (I also wonder if you can beat him later in the game =0 )

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I ran into something called Mukon.

Post Moon Phase 2
Spoiler:
Fuuka kept talking about how she 'senses death on that floor' and how we should get out of there fast. I still roamed around, hoping to see Reaper for the first time. This guy was something else though, he was hitting my characters for 600-1200 HP.

Just checked GameFAQs, apparantly it was Reaper, aka Death.

I was worried about that shit, so I teleported my ass outta there before it was too late. <.<

Also, does the Reaper look like a normal enemy or it's own little figure on screen?

It has it's own figure from what I saw. It sort of ambushed me so I wasn't able to get a good look at it. My characters were set to shadow hunting mode so they engaged without me. It killed someone faster than I could turn around and jump in. >_>

Haha, I did the same as Chaotic. I hung out right beside the teleporter for a few minutes after Fuuka said she sensed the death on my floor, but he didn't show up and I wasn't going looking for him.

I was a little pissed about the request for a Vetala with Maragi, mostly because Vetala seems to suck so it was a shame wasting personas to create it.

The Reaper requires you to be almost max level with good gear in order to kill him =P He's at the end of the "rare monster" hunting quest-chain.

If they included some mini games it would have been fun, I always loved Hanging out in the Casino in persona 1.

And i wonder how to use those stuffs like flowers, Can you give them to girls or what?

Yeah, once you get your social rank high enough with a girl you can give them a gift at the end of a Sunday date with them. It's really annoying though, because it gives you 4 general categories (Flowers, Antiques, something else, and Other) and once you pick one it won't let you go back. I wasted a Jack Frost Doll on accident that way by picking Other, because it wouldn't let me give her nothing either.

Surely there's a mini-game somewhere... This game is just crying out for at least one. I remember the Dyaos shooter in DDS2 was kind of hidden, having to talk to a normal NPC kid and it was only available for a short time.

Finally caved in and bought it myself. The EB Games was calling me!

I haven't gotten into a game this much in a long time. I think the main appeal for me is the insane amount of paths you can take. It'll be awhile (a probably many New Game+s) to get through em all.

Fun times. I have a bit to catch up to with everyone else here but I'm looking forward to it.

And I know that it had been mentioned before, but I was wondering if I had to go out and buy a fancy 64 MB memory card >_>

Well, the game's pretty damn enjoyable so far. I had some serious trouble with the mini-boss on floor #110, mainly because it did that Tetrakarn thing along with it's serious Garudyne walloping (this on a team where I'm resistant against wind and no one else is weak).

So I jumped up to around 40ish and just laid into it with bufu spells. Everything else is either reflected or does pathetic damage. The next place is crazy though, and I'm being rather careful with Samael lest I eat a Hama or two. Seems like it doesn't take very many levels beyond what the shadows are at to get them distressed.

The two main personas I'm using right now are augmented Power and Samael. I'll spoiler tag them if anyone wants. I'm thinking of Succubus (Samael + Leanan Sidhe) since last time I look at the result it managed to get Samael's Mabufu and Zio along with Leanan's Charmdi and Posumudi. I've got quite a ways to go before I can even fuse it though, since I'm at 45 right now.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Please don't spoil it by telling us what the last Floor # is when you reach it. I'm just glad to hear theres over 100. Anyone else getting Parasite Eve nostalgia from Tartarus? The Chrysler building was the first mega dungeon I remember going through, it had around 70-80 floors. Not many people made it to the top.

No problem, I'll be sure to spoiler tag it or simply omit the floor number when that time comes around. Also, seconding that PE feeling along with memories of the tower in the first Dark Cloud game.

Edit: Forgot to mention the shrine. The offertory box there really helps out in bumping your academics. That on top of studying every so often will max it out in no time. Just make sure you give it 1k each day. A question though: Anyone know what the fizzy drink is that Maiko asks for? She's the little girl by the park.
