Childish things you still find funny
Dunno if this is better suited for the Laugh and Games thread, but alas, here it is in general discussion.
What childish things still make you chuckle? Oh, me you ask? My vice is definitely anything that comes out of your butt, like farts and poop. Farts are inherently funny because they make a funny noise and they smell. They're a great social conduit, bringing people together at the expense of the people in a small radius. Even fart noises, like when someone is struggling with a ketchup bottle, and it farts all over their french fries. HILARIOUS! Poop is funny for the following reasons: 1. It comes out of your butt 2. It smells I mean seriously, do you need any other reason? Poop and farts are funny. What makes you giggle, but theoretically shouldn't at your age? How ya doing, buddy?

I recently borrowed the complete Ren & Stimpy from a friend of mine, and it's still the funniest cartoon I have ever watched. None of this, "oh, there are jokes for kids and pop culture references for adults" pixar nonsense. It's just ridiculous and stupid and wonderful.

Does anyone remember that show Pinky and the Brain. Oh god. that show is great. I remember laughing my buttox off at that show as a kid. I recently downloaded some episodes of that show and I was still able to laugh my butt off. Love the intro song actually.

There's a cartoon my little brother watches and I think it is the greatest animated thing on Earth: Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto! I cannot get enough of that stuff. It is hilarious and childish but awesome and hilarious. Most amazing jew boots |

Old school Nick shows, farting, cartoons in general... and getting hit in the crotch, because getting punched, kicked, or otherwise hit in the groin is universally funny.

Random and excessive cuss words are still funny sometimes. Not in their usual use, like in anger or arguments, but when they're used in random situations. It can make things seem much more overdone than they really are.

Farts are funny in serious situations! Exam halls when everyone is contemplating suicide if they don't pass, EXPLOSION OF ARSE NOISE, suddenly everyone laughs and joins hands. Instant world peace. Then the exam results arrive and everyone fails. But that's okay! Becaus-EXPLOSION OF ARSE NOISE.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Pinky and the Brain. (A couple of us at work even do the "Are you pondering what I'm pondering" skit from time to time.) I also love Animaniacs. C'mon, the song has the line: "Baloney in our slacks." How much more How ya doing, buddy? |
