Slash: If I followed the storylines correctly (I have only been able to watch Raw the last two weeks), Santino represented a fan (of course, in an angle) whom pinned Umaga (who has beaten Triple H, HBK, Cena, Kane, and others) for the title. The idea of a 'fan' (yes, I know he is not a fan) beating someone of the caliber (with regards to whom he has defeated) of Umaga to me puts Santino in a negative light as it cheapens the title, cheapens the character of Umaga, and cheapens overall the idea of pro wrestlers having to be trained to compete (again, yes, I realize this is all an angle).
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Lashley took out Umaga and Santino "fell" ontop that way Lashley and Umaga could do their feud I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Slash: I know that. It's the idea of an 'out-of-the-blue fan' holding any title (save for very, VERY special circumstances) but more specifically one that for many years meant you were the number two wrestler in the WWE/F, and at least since 2002ish of the Raw brand. Had they had an angle where he was a fan who had a dream come true and became a wrestler, followed by some matches, and THEN won the title via fluke with the aid of Lashley, that would have been a bit better (although probably he still wouldn't have had the fan support).
How ya doing, buddy? |
The WWF made the intercontinental title worth something WWE probably has most of their writers joing to the divas ~LAWL~ What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
CM Punk gets a ECW title shot at Summerslam. That alone is a good enough reason for me to watch it on webcast. FELIPE NO |
But will Punk actually win the title? That's the question. And have a decent title reign...
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
In some sad news (again), Bryan Adams, AKA Crush, passed away.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
And to add to that Sylvain Grenier was released(kinda saw it coming). Before the huge Owen/Bret fued came along, I thought of Crush as one of the best heels of all time. With the formentioned fued + the Crush/Randy Savage angle, those were simply the best.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Oh shit.. Crush died... wtf. I was hoping he'd make a return as Crush. I always imagined him having some kind of "Dog the Bounty Hunter" gimmick if he kept the Hawaiian angle.
Looks like Michael Cole fucked up on Smackdown and said "Illegitamite son" instead of child (they were wanting to keep the angle a surprise until tonight, I imagine.) This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Looks like...

lawl @ WWE Idol... and the panel is just perfect. (Foley!!) lol
Wow, I haven't seen Volkoff in a long long time. He looks to be in pretty good shape. LOL, that whole thing between Regal and Sheik was a send-up of what happened between Sheik and Warrior at that convention. FELIPE NO |
Um, so it's not Hardy Vs MVP in a boxing match but Hardy Vs Holyfield. I am smelling an angle here (else Hardy will get beat down even worse than in his match with Edge at SS 05).

The whole boxing angle almost has to remind you of the old Brawl for All bullshit they did back in the day.
Remember Bart Gunn vs. Butterbean? If the word owned need an event as a definition, that would be it. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Okay, so lets discuss Hard Justice.
They took the belts off Joe and put them on Angle so now he has the 3 TNA titles and the IWGP title Good move or bad move? I, personally, would have rather seen Joe with the belts. I don't know why but Joe is just so much more hard hitting than Angle is. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
That would have made more sense given that both team 3-D and Daniels had title shots. Somehow, I have a feeling Daniels title shot is going into the void for a little while. As for team 3D, well, they are leaving anyway so...
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Where did you hear news that they were leaving?

4w-wrestling.com. Not seen it anywhere else yet (although I have not checked too many sites save for the regulars).
However, the Dudleys have supposedly didn't want to leave WWE to begin with but had a dispute with someone over their pay or such. Oh yes, speaking of TNA and the Dudleys, Spike Dudley (Brother Runt) was releated, as well as Jerry Lynn and some others. FELIPE NO |
I remember about the Dudleys...they kind of got screwed towards the end of their WWE run. They were doing great then after ONS...2005? or 2006...they just bombed.
WWE needs to bring them back in some tag team turmoil match along with Heyman. WWE needs to turn the WWECW booking over to Heyman as well What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
They were kinda on the outs before ONS 2005. However, the WWE let them main event ONS 2005 anyway to have a nostagalia feel along with Sandman and Dreamer. However, the dispute about their pay, along with something about them being disrespected resulted in them leaving for sure afterwards (instead of going back to Smackdown!),
As for Heyman, the problem is Vince stops many of the things Heyman comes up with...or decides to follow a particular storyline but with his own writers (effectively taking the angle from Heyman). N2D last December or whatever was proof of that as Heyman had some good ideas, only to (supposedly) have them nixed by Vince. The end result was what you saw, including the PPV ending a half an hour early. Ultimately, my thoughts would be to have a semi-shoot thing going on within the WWE. What I would love to see is Bischoff come back along with Heyman, taking Smackdown! for WCW and ECW for...well ECW respectively. Then, each side will take shots at Vince, in a semi-shoot, namely, Vince will have a general idea of what is going on, and a well-detailed idea for anything super significant (i.e. world title changes), but will be 'surprised' by what they say, and what they do. Of course, that will never happen, but it would be cool to see a three way battle between WWE, WCW and ECW, but in such a way that it actually almost seems like a battle (for instance, each side competing against the other for ratings). Oh, and each side would have their version of a world champion and a secondary title (IC, US, and TV), but the CW, Women's and Tag titles would be inter-brand titles, and whomever has the particular title must defend it against challenges from other in ALL brands. I really liked it when they did that with the world title in the beginning because it REALLY established the world champ as THE champion. Most amazing jew boots |
Yeah...but I'm sure the WWE writers have those ideas...but the main idea of "I need a paycheck" takes priority.
Hell...we should all just fucking recruit wrestlers then create our own federation...the GFF GamingForce Federation There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
