Jewelry while sleeping

I was talking with some friends and somehow it came out that two of them don't remove their bracelets when they go to sleep. I thought this was weird because i was pretty sure that everyone removes all their jewelry when they sleep. My question is:

Do you remove everything, some things, or nothing?

For the things that you don't remove why do you not remove them?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Does wrist watch count? I don't wear any jewelry. I really couldn't fathom why people would want to wear them in their sleep though, I guess if something that you had to keep in place (like certain type of piercing) then people probably don't remove them, but there is always the possibility that something gets caught or stuck while you were moving around in your sleep. I don't want wake up to any unpleasant surprised because of it. :<

I wear this necklace all the time, never take it off except for the occasional cleaning.

I guess I find it's sort of a hassle to keep taking it off and putting it back on everyday. Since I wear it everyday, and it doesn't disturb my sleep, there's no point in me taking it off.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I have a silver chain necklace that I never, ever take off. I've been told it's a choking hazard if my hand gets caught on it, but I'm still here after 10 years. Plus, choking while asleep seems like a peaceful way to go. Wow, that's morbid. D:

I only wear a watch during the day, and I used to wear it when I went to sleep, but then I lost it, and from then I've never worn any jewellery whilst sleeping. Except for the rare occurance of course.

I have 7 rings and one half-ring that I never remove. I have about a million necklaces, though - I often remove them in order to change up my outfit or whatever. I used to wear one silver moonstone pendant all the time, but it got a little boring. So now, I wear a variety of things.

But yea. The rings pretty much never come off. I've been wearing some of these rings for almost 10 years.

I usually wear earrings, necklace (that I don't take off), university ring (that I don't take off), and a watch. I only take off the earrings and watch. I don't see how anyone can sleep with earrings, especially the ones I wear, unless they're studs.

I have my A&M aggie ring that I only put on once I leave the house. Once I'm within the safety of my own roof, I take that sumbitch off. I love it but it's heavy =( I mean really~

I used to wear a watch but the face of it got in the way of my wrist mobility. I only tell time with my cell, so that leaves me with the ring as my only jewelry =U

I used to take off everything except my wedding rings. Now that I don't wear those anymore I take everything off. Every once in a while I'll accidentally fall asleep with my watch on but I never, ever sleep in earrings or a necklace. It would drive me crazy.

On the occasion that I do wear jewelry, (rings, earrings or a necklace) I leave it on for a few weeks. So, I'll sleep with it on, and shower with it on. The only time I don't do that is if it starts to bug me or if it's a mood ring of some sort and can't get water on it or something.

My parents got me a necklace for graduation that I wear every day. I usually leave it on when I'm sleeping, but sometimes it annoys me so I take it off. If I've been wearing earrings, I usually leave them in unless the end of the studs poke my head when I'm asleep, and I always have my lip and nose rings in.

I used to keep my rings on my fingers when I slept, but now they are kept on a chain, so I don't wear them anymore.

As a kid I kept my earrings in, but they where just stubs.

I sleep with a necklace on. I've only lost the pendant once since the chain I had it on was a bit old, but I don't usually have problems keeping my necklace on. I don't take it off either since it's important to me. I don't sleep with earrings on either.

Why the hell would someone wear jewlery when going to sleep anyway? Is it too much work to just take them off and put them on again in the morning or whenever you feel waking up?

I've never understood how some people can stand to wear watches and jewelry while sleeping. It seems so uncomfortable just to save 5 minutes at most each morning. I can't even stand to wear my watch while typing in campus computer labs because of the tables.

Not to mention the effects I've seen from wearing a watch 24/7. A friend of mine wore his for a year, only removing it for showers, and still has a bright white band on his wrist to prove it. For a long time it was also skinnier than the rest of his wrist and looked really freaky.

I don't really like wearing watches, but I'll put one on when I go out just "for show." They're kinda uncomfortable. =/

Anyway, it's not jewelry, but I don't sleep with my glasses on. But once in while if I just came back from pimpin' and I'm really tired, I'll pass out with all my bling on.
