It's that time of the year again! (or Enkidu complains about the music forums)

Since there is interest in reforming the Gaming forums, and with the whole enthousiast wave of GFF coming back, I am here yet again to complain about this little petpeeve of mine.

My proposal, since the current structure obviously isn't working all that great:
- Merge Game music album comments with General VGM discussion, since most of the activity takes place there anyway.
-Get rid of Anime album comments, since it's hardly being used, or make it a subforum in Animespot
-Get rid of Other Album comments, and transfer the Music Exposure Club to the Media Centre since it's the only active thread. Other album comments can easily be placed in the Media Centre.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I agree. The last thing that is needed, on a site with relatively low PPD, is a plethora of unused subforums. It's far better to consolidate on the basic topics, and then expand if the need arises.

We already have a proposal ready, after discussions are done we'll kick off with the preliminary changes. And yes, it looks like your suggestions are accounted for.

One thing I'd suggest is to move the Music Exposure Club discussion to a Sticky under the actual MEC in My Stuff rather than the media center, just so it's more convenient to go from one to the other. Most people in don't use the Exposure Club anyway, so no point putting it way out in the open.

I wouldn't mind seeing the discussion thread in the Media Centre, to be honest. It might bring a little "exposure" to the club, and bring in some new tastes in the process.
