I started a rip for Magical Starsign a while ago. But I lost interest in the game. The music loops really quickly and many same themes return from time to time. If someday I decide to go dig into this game again, I just need to know if there are different themes for the "multiplayer" side. You know, the breeding thing and the confrontation.

I did a few Contact tracks (http://www.sendspace.com/file/bxljqp) with some tricks to get them without sound efects and in full length.

But before I start ripping all tracks I'd like to know if they sound good enough. I ripped them with a laptop and a regular cable, any tips? (volume, cleaning, whatever). They sound fine to me, exactly like my DSL with headphones, but maybe some audiophiles can comment on it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Venus & Braves (PS2) See: 1 2 3 4 5

It's a Japanese-only strategy game with Ace Combatish music. I cannot find a torrent and I have a policy of "if the game was not released in my territory then I have reason to pay for it" so I'd like to avoid importing. Please?

I ripped this but all of them are .wav (too big to upload). Any request on compression and bit-rate?

For your info, some of composers certainly are ACE COMBAT composers (Kobayashi, Okubo and Nakatsuru...I love 'em) but others are not. I wish I could recall thier names. Either way, music is different from AC.

Astonishia Story for PSP. I have no idea if it can be ripped though. But if someone manages to put up some kind of rip, I would be very grateful.

There's a title called Choro Q Park for the Saturn that has audio tracks (9 of them) which should be easily rippable.

Er, I don't have anything to download it on right now but anything lame VBR v0-2 would be just fine, thanks for ripping it.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/9sr4hk

Since the files were too long (on average, 10mins), I timed it pretty roughly to upload. Also, while there is no small amount of the official track names according to the promotional CD and the ringtone service, I didn't tag it at all. At the very least, the opening FMV theme is called "Waltz for Ariah", not a Greensleeves suite or "Shalion".

The sound staffs are Masako Ohgami, Keiki Kobayashi, Tomoko Tatta, Junichi Nakaturu, Tomomitsu Kaneko, Etsuo Ishii, Hideki Tabata, Akitaka Toyama, but only the first four persons presumably are the composers. As you said, Some tracks certainly sound like ACE COMBAT and Soul Calibur stuff. It desreves a soundtrack release, IMO.

How about Mr Nutz for the Amiga CD32? Or Hotel Mario for the CDI?

And those events on Drakengard would be nice...

Oh! And someone has to do Giga Wing 2 on the Dreamcast! That soundtrack....It's crazy!

I don,t have too much time on my own and I don't think I'll get some in the coming days, I just want to say that Planet Puzzle League on DS has a 13-tracks sound test and it should be ripped. Don't be surprised, the music isn't the best shit you'd nominate for any contest, but I find it decent.

THERE'S A "Cub3d" TRACK IN THERE *goes crazy*

Lumines II for the PSP. Got quite a few additional original tracks over the first one, and I haven't seen the soundtrack anywhere.

Also Super Stardust HD for the PS3 (network-bought game) - I am probably going to do this in the near future; the artist says he's going to release the soundtrack "soon" but I'm tired of waiting. I might also do the new tracks in Ninja Gaiden Sigma while I'm at it - but mind, each of these will be line-in recordings, not actual rips.

Also, I have the PGR3 rip if anyone would like it, feel free to message me...

Nobody has ripped Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS yet have they?

If there is no rip, id like to rip it myself. I read all the threads and howtos and i think i can do it. I just need some less than techinical pointers. Such as how many times do I let a song loop before I cut it off?

Normally it's a matter of opinion, but I've found this method to work best. Let it play, then loop, then on the second loop play it for about 5 seconds then fade out for the next 10 seconds.

Again, it's a matter of opinion.

I prefer just fading out the first 10 seconds of the third loop, but it's all good so long as you get the two full loops. Fade out is a matter of opinion, like SuperSonic said.

Question

I've gone back a few pages, so I don't think this has been mentioned previously. Has anyone been able to rip the Final Fantasy I (PSP Anniversary Edition) soundtrack yet? I grabbed a few of the tracks that had been added (various boss themes from later FF games, Clash on the Big Bridge/Battle with Gilgamesh etc) from someone on 4chan, but I don't think the whole soundtrack has been posted yet.

There is, though it's 128kbps. I forget where I got this rip from.
