Food remedies for reflux
Hi,
I surfed internet and by chance I found the website about how to ease your reflux, at the end I realised they tried to sell the ebook, I got a little bit upset. Anyway, I think anything to do with health, we should share our secrets rather than charge people because we are desperate to find the cure. I had reflux for a long time, the medication did not work well to me (but I am still taking it), one of my doctor told me she got the remedy from one of her patient, she recommended that I should try yoghurt (dairy or soy) before go to bed, and it works well. Also by chance, I found another remedy which is Wo Long tea - mountain (just need to put a little bit), also take before bedtime, but be aware of not to consume too much, otherwise you might end up waking up for toilet. I also change my diet which is low sugar, ate fruit in daytime and make sure not to eat anything after dinner. Anyway, those are my experiences, they might not work to all of you and it is definitely not medical advice, so please consult your doctor before you change anything. myeronetwo Jam it back in, in the dark. |
My dad has difficulties with reflux too, and he usually counters it with a small sandwich before bed. Nothing fancy, just bologna, cheese, and ketchup on a plain bun. It keeps him from waking up sick in the middle of the night, but the downside is added weight. You should experiment with anything mild, and preferrably small so that it's easily digested.
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
I have reflux too. It used to be VERY bad. Some things to suggest:
Even though you may not want to eat because your stomach hurts, don't go without food. You need something for your stomach acid to digest. Stay away from fatty foods, cola and soda, coffee, peppermint, and tomatoes. I find milk works very well, since it's alkaline. Also try ginger tea. It's very soothing. ![]() Most amazing jew boots |
