At your level, you should be doing absolutely savage amounts of damage. With both MP restoring licenses (augments), you shouldn't be running out before the fight ends. Heck, the longest fight in the game was probably Yiazmat and I never ran low.

I also can't think of a fight where my MP ran low. The only times where I have needed an ether or needed to charge was fights where the enemies would use "Fearga". Aside from that though you should be fine. Like you said MS, with augments you should be gaining MP every time you either recieve damage or dish some out.

Correct me if I am wrong but in order to fight Omega you need ll 13 espers right? I thought that you did and I was almost finished with the Great Crystal BS puzzle again when I realized I have yet to face Zodiarc. So I promptly turned around and and currently about to go through the Henne Mines to take down the final esper. I think I will shoot myself if I was wrong and was able to fight Omega withough having all 13 epsers. As to why I didn't simply finish the last gate and find out for myslef, I don't know.

MS, there can't be much left for you to do. You still playing or kinda takin off from XII?

Off the current topic, but I'm feeling rather proud that I just blazed through and claimed the Zodiac Spear. Now it's on like Donkey Kong, or uh, Final Fantasy... yeah.

Yeah, if an enemy did Fearga I'd break out Charge+Ether or any kind. Just enough to get me in the black in terms of MP so they can restore the rest themselves.

Nah, you only need to have accepted the Yiazmat hunt. Some folks thought you had to beat Yiazmat, but that's not the case because some went to Omega's area before that and he was active.

Like PiccoloNamek, I'm basically done with FFXII. Got myself 3 Yagyu Darkblades from a 30 chain drop a while back so the only things I'm missing are GG, Zodiac Spear and Danjuro. Aside from that, the rest of the game is complete 100%, and have since started and completed Okami @ 100% too.

As for the MP, I find my guys don't necessarily get to zero MP, but once they get down to one mist bar, then I start to pay much more attention to what type of magic they're casting.

Try using black masks to absorb dark matter. What levels are you at?

Metal Sphere----this happened when I would fight Fafnir, Chaos, Behemoth King and Hell Wyrm straight up. Thats why I used that technique.

Darkja is weird. Sometimes I would be dead. Sometimes I would be healed. I thought you had to be either close to him or far from him to be unaffected by that Darkja. Boy, I was wrong. Just finally got the Turnesol. Now I am working on Scorpion Tail.

I went through the whole entire Henne Mines and No Ribbon. . So I went back the way I came in. Got a set of Lords of Robes though

By the way, did anybody else have problems with this forums? For some reason, I could not get this website up.

SCRATCH AND SNIFF, was 82 and 83 but like I said before, I was fighting straight up without casting alot of magic. Would use Berserk every Now and then and Hastega

LAZLOW---not sure about the Scathe, but I believe in Burheim Passage, Necrohol or Balfonheim.

ZODIAC SPEAR #2

"This one is harder to get! It is in the Henne Mines in the 2nd phase dig area, before you fight the Zodiark Esper. Thus to get this Zodiac Spear, you must have obtained at least 10 Espers (the requirement of obtaining Zodiark), or the area will not be opened.

The Zodiac Spear will then be in a chest in which spawns in the 2nd phase area. However, the chest only has small chance of appearing. And smaller chance of containing the Zodiac Spear.

To obtain this Zodiac Spear, you MUST have the Diamond Gauntlets equipped before opening the chest. It will NOT appear in the chest at all, without them equipped. If not equipped, you will only find gil."

LAZLOW.....When you enter Necrohol from Salikwood, you iff you look on your map in Necrohol, you will see 2 long straight hall ways. One on the left and one on the right. Its the one on the left. You will see a small hole connected to it. When you enter that, you will see another hall way wahere you can enter. Enter that. If you look on the Map, you will see where you are, but not a place on the map. In one of the corners, you will see a question mark pop up. That is the secrete Shop merchant to buy Scathe.

You can also buy Maximmilion, Mega Power Shiask, ether, opal ring and Telekenesis

HAHA! Nice, guess which bitch got owned? I took down Ultima just now and she wasn't as bad as I feared, but the changing status did pose a threat, especially the HP sap and no items (X-potions were my SAVIORS in that battle), but when all was said and done, it only took maybe less than 10 minutes to take her down? I found she really abused her HOLYJA spell near the end of the battle, almost every second turn, rather than just simple attacks. From this point, they note that the Omega dude is not far from here, you guys think I stand a chance?

Also, 0 game over play for the win - never seen the GO screen yet - I swear to God!

Still trying to get a dang ribbon from Cerobi Steppe. I am in the crossfield. Every Chest I open there is like over 2500 gil. I would then save at the Blue Save Crystal and then cancel the game and reload it and the chest would respawn. I found another formalhaunt doing this. So that makes 2. One from Lhushe Mines and the other frome Cerobi.

The only Ribbon I have been able to get thus far has been the one in the Pharo's. I have heard though that it can take some serious time to the one in the Stoppe. As for the Wyrm Bone they are not the same thing as the Battlewyrm Carapiece. I believe the Skullwyrm is in the Dry Beam area of the Cavern. Just keep chaining it and eventuallly he should drop them. Also steal before you kill him since it essentially doubles your chances of getting said items.

Yeah, I figured that out afterwards. I also got a new weapon from it called "The Bastard Sword." What a name for a sword

What is weird is that to get the Artemis Arrows, you need 2 Dorsal Fin, 3 Gemini Gems and 2 Vampr fangs. Well I had 1 Dorsal Fin and 2 Vampyr Fangs and 0 Gemini Gems and still made the Artemis Arrows. Whats up with that? Is there some items we do not need and it will still create the item?

I don't think I'm ready to take on the Omega, I have to admit I have *some* difficulty with the Ultima fight, and she's easy compared to the higher ups. I think I should just continue and kill Zordiak. Must be black masks first.

Also, I'm low on ethers for MP! HELP!

Well like said before, if you have all of the augments you should be fine on MP unless an opponent uses Fear. If you need ethers though IIRC, they can be bought at the Secret Baknamy shop in the Necrohol. The black masks I believe can be bought In Balfonheim.

LilGreek Kid: I remember reading about the bastard sword, but I don't recall if it is a dropped item or bazarr. I'm almost positive its not a Bazarr item. Anyways what are the stats for sword?

Nah not a Bazaar....I got 2 of those. Its just like what you have to do to that Bomb in the Lushu Mines to get Darkblade. I got to from Skullwyrm, where you have to get the wyrm bone to make Scorpion Tail (AXE).

Ohh by the way, I am back at the Cerobbi Steppe. I am opening the 3 Chest (w/ Diamond Amulet) behind the rocks, Saving my game, then quitting my game, then restarting. The chest respawn, but NO RIBBON yet. This time around was able to get Castellanos.

OK...I am . I just finally found a ribbon , but when I equipped it and equipped the Ensaguined Shield (90 Magic Evade), it still puts on the Sap, Poison, etc.....What gives? Thought Ribbon was supposed to make you immune??

I played throught the Japanese game and have yet to play through the English version.

How are you guys / girls liking the game and how does it rank against other FF's? What are your opinions, likes, dislikes?

Andrew---doesn't matter to me. FF is top notch. First RPG I played was Wild Arms. One thing I don't like is you have one opportunity to get this. examples Genji Gloves. You have to steal it the first time you fight Gilgamesh inorder to increase your combos with it. If you don't steal it, your SOL. Thats sucks. Storyline could be better though.

Can;t wait till FF XIII. Got my PS3 and waiting for the game. Next Month (March), my first game for PS3----> Heavenly Sword (called the Goddess of War)

Isn't it pretty much the same in English or Japanese? The licenses are an improvement on FFX's sphere grid. The Gambits allow a depth of character customization that reminds me FFVIII's junction system. I think the main story is pretty basic compared to all the Playstation 1/2 FF games, but the backstory of the world it takes place in is even more expansive than Spira from FFX. The amount and quality of sidequests is greater than FFVI, though there is less relation to the main playable characters. The music is on par with FFIX, since it's not bad at all, but not very exceptional either. What else is there? The character designs and graphics are sexier than FFX-2. The battle system is an improvement on FFXI's. The moogles gain +10 Adorability. Am I done?

Well since I played through the game I know most of it. I am just asking how much you guys/girls enjoy it compared to other ff games. So there is a lot of sidequests?!

I just have not read/heard a lot of feeback about the game.

Personally I loved it and can't wait to play through it again, this time in English.
