I'm in uni and don't actually *have* spare change, because I'm going to school on scholarships that don't buy food. So I'm always on the lookout for quarters and whatnot that people drop ... and would really have to be convinced to give them up. Sometimes I do anyway, especially if someone I know is in a bad way.
Blood donation used to be a thing of mine too, then I tested positive for hepatitis and am no longer allowed to donate, even though the test was a false positive and I've never had hepatitis. Oh well. I am a registered organ donor still. I've considered donating my remains to science (medical school, probably) both because I hate the idea of waste (hey, a body takes a lot of work to grow ... and think of all the food) and to save on unnecessary funeral expenses.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
