Hi guys, I just started watching Heroes. It is an awesome show! I was able to find the first 6 episodes posted on the web, but I can't seem to find episodes 7-12. Can anyone help me out? I tried the NBC websight, but it keeps crashing my computer. All the other websights I go to, episodes 7-12 have been erased.
Spoiler:

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Eh, I think Hiro fighting an actual T-Rex would be quite cheesy, I'd much rather have him just get those comical, out of this world scenes over actually taking it litterally.

I mean honestly, all of Issac's paintings have been spot on, but fuck, no one has got the predicitons right for the most part heh

Edit: In the show that is >.>

I found the missing episodes posted on youtube. I just watched episode 7. Awesome stuff. I've read comics since the 80's and I've always thought the best super power would be teleportation like Hiro. Not in a super hero sort of way, but just to be able to have breakfast in Paris, lunch in Japan and dinner in Hawaii. Think of the vacations you could take and no airfare or hotel costs! And as far as work, I could start my own delivery service, "when it absolutely, positively has to be there in 5 seconds." Think of the fees I could charge....

Then again, it could be hell if you couldn't control it properly. What if you end up 800 m under water or in space? (Or inside a rock for that matter!)

huh? the invisible man and the nuclear man are not the same person... at least I don't remember it being the same guy...
Ack! That's right. They're different guys. I completely forgot for a minute there. I couldn't really remember the nuclear guy by the time I saw the invisible guy and Peter's continuous flashbacks of him appearing in his dream. Both the nuclear guy and the invisible guy are cool new characters.

You wouldn't be if you suddenly were floating free 20 or so yards above your moving car on the freeway?

I actually had no memory of the nuclear guy before this episode. My dad and i started watching late into the series, so we were quite behind for a long time. We managed to get ahold of the first four or so episodes, but i guess i missed one.

You seemed to be implying that Nathan was indeed afraid of heights due to that one scene. I was pointing out that anyone would be freaked out by suddenly finding themselves in open air for seemingly no reason at all while speeding down the highway.

I've had a week to simmer over the events in the newest episode. The introduction of two new Heroes was probably the best part.

MOSTLY IRRELEVANT SIDENOTE: Several years ago, before Heroes was even a project on Kring's agenda, a friend and I put together some ideas for a comic book series. He would be the artist and I'd write. It never came to much fruition, but I did manage to draft up numerous characters.
Imagine my shock when last Monday's episode used two of my ideas in precisely the way I'd conceived them. I'd thought of someone whose ability was selective invisibility. But I was more surprised when that Hannah character appeared with the ability to communicate through various energy-wave sources, such as wi-fi internet. They even used the same alias I came up with: Wireless. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after seeing that. The odds of such coincidence were infinitessimal.
I'm not claiming theft or anything, but it's very peculiar to realize that the same ideas I had several years ago are being implemented in this show. I like to think of it as a bizarre compliment; perhaps I've always had what it takes to be a writer for the comic books.

Anyhow, onto some thoughts:

Claire: Nothing new with her, really. We've seen some foreshadowing that indicates she'll be seeking out her birth mother. I've come to the conclusion that we already know who Claire's true mother is. At first, I was going with something that seemed a little obvious, but after further consideration, I arrived at what I think would be the beat twist so far:

Spoiler:
Jessica Sanders (Niki's darker half) is Claire's mother.

Think about this. Claire and Niki are both blondes, forming a physical resemblance. However, Niki has never voiced anything about a daughter that she had to give up for adoption. Yet it's very possible that Jessica did give up a child and told nobody. I've got a hunch who the father is, but that's pretty sick. It would definitely link Claire to both Niki and the Pitrelli brothers, if I'm right, however.
But something tells me I'm on the money with this prediction. It makes a lot of sense.

Niki & Jessica: So, what's their deal? After all this time, we still don't really know what their actual power(s) are. I think it's fairly obvious that Jessica's ability is super-strength, as only Jessica can use this ability despite being in Niki's body.

So what about Niki?

Spoiler:
I think Niki can channel the dead, specifically dead heroes. But the provision is that she has to be very familiar with the person. So far, Niki hasn't become close to anyone who's died, so she hasn't manifested any other spirits than her deceased sister.

So how do we prove that Niki can channel spirits? Well, we'd have to wait for someone else to die, to be truthful. We've seen that Sylar kills Isaac, and I sincerely believe that this will come to pass. Niki and Isaac have never met, but Peter and Isaac have. Therefore, seeing as Peter can copy the powers of others, once Isaac dies, if Peter gets near Niki and is able to channel the spirit and powers of Isaac beyond the grave, then we'll know Niki's true power.

This is also a very convenient, yet clever way to physically kill off a character without removing them from the developing plotline. Imagine having the dead heroes still remain in contact through a living medium. It could happen.

Mr. Bennet: We still don't know his true agenda. I think it's a safe bet to assume he's working for this "Linderman" person, since Linderman seems to be at the heart and soul of all transactions so far. Linderman owns the sword with the genome marker, after all, right? 2 + 2 = 4.

Anyhow, I suspect that Mr. Bennet is on the list. He's working with other heroes, so why wouldn't he himself be empowered? And I am gonna predict Bennet's ability:

Spoiler:
Mr. Bennet can block the abilities of others, like a human "buffer".

"But Crash, isn't that what the Haitian Man does?" No. The Haitian man can rewrite peoples' memories. Let's recall specifically what Mr. Bennet said to the captive Sylar. To paraphrase, Bennet said that it was interesting that Sylar had demonstrated multiple abilities whereas none of the other heroes had displayed more than one. So, this would mean that even the Haitian man possessed only one skill.

Therefore, it's been a matter of cunning misdirection and camera tricks that have caused us to believe that the Haitian Man was blocking Sylar and Matt Parkman's abilities. When Mr. Bennet wasn't around, Sylar was able to use his telekinesis to pull Eden through the glass. Also, whenever Mr. Bennet wanted the Haitian Man or Eden to use their abilities on someone, he'd leave the room or make sure he was at a distance. As further proof, when Claire was visiting Peter in jail, Mr. Bennet was right there, which prevented Peter from absorbing Claire's healing ability and becoming well again. It's also why Mr. Bennet was able to control and manipulate Eden; she couldn't tell him what to do like so many others.

Mohinder Suresh: Mr. Bennet paid Mohinder a visit, asked him a simple question: "Are you on the list?".

I bet the answer is yes.

This isn't really a spoiler, since I can't name Mohinder's ability. But we've seen that Mohinder's sister was "special" and was the reason Chandra Suresh became obsessed with the Human Genome Project. He also did his best to keep Mohinder away from the information, much like Mr. Bennet's tried to shelter Claire. They're on the list. Simple as that. Siblings have the tendency to have powers on this show.

What does Mohinder do? Who knows? But it'll be good, that's assured.

Nobody else really had any huge revelations this week. Hannah and Claude are compelling new characters, and Hannah seems to be one of those who don't deserve their powers, but we were given only small morsels of info on each one. That's not enough to formulate hypotheses.

I'm looking forward to Micah's admission tomorrow night. I'm also hoping to see more of Nathan, as I'm growing fonder of him. He's been a reluctant hero so far but he's gonna start coming out of his shell soon. Wait and see.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I personally think you're reaching a bit far on a lot of those predictions, though I can see where you're coming from. The Mr. Bennett prediction is right where I think things are going, though. And your logic for that conclusion is very sound. It will be interesting to see how they reveal that bit of information if you're right.
Spoiler:
My only question along those lines would be whether his buffer power is working on all powers or only mental powers, and whether or not that afforded protection is extended to those he either chooses to protect, or those within a radius of his person, perhaps. This question would apply even if we're wrong and Bennett isn't the character with the supressor power.

Well, Bennet being able to supress the power would be something on track, cause I was thinking the same thing after thinking on all the episodes.

If Bennet couldn't block powers, how'd he get the Haitians help? I'm sure if that Hatian could erase memories and put people to sleep of sorts, he could have easily done it to bennet.

Tho, one question comes up. If Bennet can indeed block powers, why couldn't he stop Nathan from flying?

Yes I brought up the same point when the episode aired but I thought it was the Hiatian.

But I like that theory alot, its the slap yourself in the face its been right under your nose. Its make alot of sense than the Hiatian having multiple powers.

You could say that Nathan is not like the others, this guy could one day be President, he is the only one truely able to go against Linderman. So it may of been some foresight on Bennet's part to let him go. (Maybe Bennet has to know beforehand what the person's ability is, he doesn't go running around in the dark looking for these Heroes. Remember Sylar said they are alot alike, maybe their powers both require then to study the person. One thing that Nathan doesnt do is blag about what his powers are, they arent obvious).

Lastly
Spoiler:
If Bennet is the one that buffers powers, then he will be the one that has to save Peter from exploding

PS We may get to finally find out who Linderman is tonight!!!

PS We may get to finally find out who Linderman is tonight!!!
Just to let you know, I highly doubt we know who Linderman is for a very long time, and I figured this out a bit ago, and I'm hoping I am right.

Linderman has a power just like the rest...but his is the power to shape shift. Have you ever noticed that whenever someone pops up using the name Linderman, it's always someone else that you've never, ever seen before? I mean sure, you have the lackies Jessica killed, and the bodyguard in the elevator, but other than that, the chineese lady, the one insurance guy collecting money from D.L. I think they are all one in the same.

Wild guess I know.

Oh, and on another note, I'm glad Claire tried to kill herself again...this hopefully means more Zack and Claire tag-teamery

To Crash regarding Niki and Jessica: I don't think everything is really falling into place here with the channeling theory. The only reason I question this is at the end of the last episode, it shows Niki (who is in complete control I believe) "bulk up" somewhat in response to the guard almost knocking her out with beating stick. She grabbed it, and overpowered him like it was nothing. I think it was Niki cause she had a shocked look to her face...

SOOOOOO....maybe it's Niki that has untapped super strength...but Jessica I'm still drawing a blank on.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I've had many ideas stolen from my brain during the years. I'm quite sure several companies have brain scanners they use to filter out ideas from people's minds every now and then. :P

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways, on to different topic. I found a rather interesting detail while reviewing some of the previous episodes:

Spoiler:

The Infinity Gun

I found this detail while watching episode 11 and later on watching episodes 1-3 with my brother a while back. What's the deal with the Infinity Gun?

Episode 2:

Hiro Goes to the future and finds Isaac dead, presumably killed by Sylar. Hold it! Wasnt there a GUN lying there as well? Hmmm, rather interesting considering Sylar doesn't need a gun to kill people. Was it Isaacs gun? Let's move on a bit further...

Episode 11:

Eden tries to kill Sylar by using her powers to make him blow his brains out using a gun. But not just any gun, this gun is branded "Infinity" and there's a close up on it just before Eden gets pulled through the glass(read one of my previous posts for another theory concerning the gun and Sylars powers). Wait a minute... haven't we seen that gun before? Let's take two screenshots from the show and compare them:

Episode 2 - Infinity gun?:

Episode 11 - Infintiy gun:

If you watch closely, you'll see that all of the parts are identical, with the exception of the one from episode 2 which doesn't expose any bullets, probably due to the fact that the gun is only "open" on the right side, as shown on the picture from episode 11.

So, what conclusions can be drawn from this? Well, there are a number of different angles we can see this from, but there's at least two facts that we can confirm:

Exhibit A: The gun is used by whatever company Mr.Bennet works for, which explains why Eden has one as well. Whether she stole it or not is irrelevant at this point.

This can be proven by by grabbing a couple of screenshots from episode 12. This also proves what I said earlier about the gun only being open to expose bullets on one side:

Now doesn't that look familiar? It's the same type of gun seen in both episodes 2 and 11. Coincidence? I should think not!

Question:

Why is there an Infinity gun at Isaacs place in the future?

Why is the gun highlighted as often as it is?

Theories:

1. There's a third person there when Isaac is killed, possibly Mr.Bennet himself.

Also likely, but if that's the case, whatever happened to Mr.Bennet(since the gun is still there, SOMETHING must have happened)?

2.A Sylar wasn't there. The person who killed Isaac was none other than Mr.Bennet who, through studying Sylar, fond out how to absorb other character's abilities. This, however doesn't explain why the gun is still there.

2.B Same as above, but a third person was there as well, making Mr.Bennet run away before he could pick the gun up.

There are probably more conclusions that could be drawn from this, but I'm too tired to think of any right now. It IS, IMO, peculiar though, how they choose to highlight and accentuate the gun over and over again. It makes me suspect that it is of great importance to the plot.

You are all more than welcome to help me out, try to prove me wrong etc., on this matter.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I don't recall this character. Can someone enlighten me?

Two questions. 1. What happened to Sylar's powers when he was running away from the homecoming, and ran into Eden and the Haitian Man? and 2. I keep thinking that Claire was able to heal herself when he was around. Am i the only person who has this hanging around in their memory?

I too have had that happen to me countless times. Mostly with comedy routines. I'll come up with an idea, and work on it for a while, only to see a comedian do it first. Bill Amend, the author of Fox Trot also seemed to be reading my mind for quite a while.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I think that she is going to be making an appearance in the next episode. Found a clip with her in it showing some basics of her powers here. *possible spoiler in video*

Edit: I've done some research, and apparantly she made an appearance in last weeks episode, but I can't remember seeing her in it. Source.
If she was in it, could someone point out where so that I go and look for myself.

Alright so.. I got an email about Primatech Paper. I assume it's supposed to be from the wireless chick. It tells me how to get into some secret files. She supplies the pass for her page but I cant seem to figure out the passwords for the others. :/

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I'm having that problem too. I got into the supposed "secret page" but I can't access anyone else.

Tho, one question comes up. If Bennet can indeed block powers, why couldn't he stop Nathan from flying?
As far as we have seen in the TV series and comics, Bennet seems to want to "activate" the individual's hidden powers. In some of the latest comics involving Wireless a text sms was sent after numerous experiments on her. The text message asked something along the lines of "Has she manifested yet?".

Same thing with Mind Reader and Radioactive dude. Apparently their powers only really started increasing in strength after their abduction with Bennet.

Therefore I can conclude that the reason Haitian and Bennet did not block Nathan's power was so that they could instead make him feel trapped. Trapped in such a way that he would have no other means of escape but to fly, basically using his power voluntarily, which he did. He's too much of a high profile person to be abducted and experimented on to manifest his abilities. Besides, he can already fly, how much more can they boost that?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
