I'm going to have to both agree and disagree with WolfDemon here.

Power Stone was amazing, there's no doubt about it, but I actually enjoyed Power Stone 2 a lot more. The ability to create items and use them in-game was tedious at times but added immensely fun elements, and I can think of nothing more satisfying than the sound of someone raging because "you threw your DAMN SWORD and interrupted me while I WAS CHARGIN' MAH LAZER!!!"

Also, special shoutout goes to Crazy Taxi on dreamcast. Somuchfun.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Why not 1-8 Players, you might ask?
You're screwed if you have no friends, because in this game, teamwork is VITAL (unless you're one of those crazy hardcore gamers, and have beyond-exceptional controller aptitude). What do I mean? The screen is split into half and you are a a bunny on one half. The other bunny is hopefully controlled by another person, and you two have to work together to beat a level. For example, you pull a switch in order to unlock a gate on the other person's side of the screen, so that they may proceed and help you when a similar obstacle is encountered.

Pure genius, and pure insanity! Let me tell you, this game is NOT even for kids. Kids would cry at the difficulty of some of the later levels.
Even more innovative, you don't even need 2 controllers, since two of you can share a controller! How's that for originality?

Highly recommended.
... I remember that game. Except I know about it as Kuri Kuri Mix and with ridiculously cute drawings on the boxart. And yes the useage of the symmetrical PS2 joypad is ingenious.

Japanese voice options may be a loss I guess, but is the blue based CD-R really a problem?

My PS2 has trouble reading blue based discs and it makes a significantly louder noise while trying to play them. Aside from that, DVD-R is a better quality, and you can tell graphically.

The PAL version's pretty rare for being a title which was rarely seen released or in stores at all, but it isn't a version which is better. Atlus just reprinted Disgaea in america again, so I'd suggest getting it asap. The prices on ebay are already something to laugh at.

How ya doing, buddy?

Ah right. I have the PAL Disgaea in my collection, and as yet I've done absolutely nothing with it. Just the thought of hoarding an inferior copy spelled a crisis just now. =o

I kid.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
