Help with GeForce 7800GT 256mb
Recently my games have had a skip during the gameplay (Half Life 2, Counter Strike: Source, Battlefield 2, Everquest 2, Empire at War). Drivers are up to date. BIO's are as well. It worked fine for the first week and now I get this problem. Anyone have any suggestions of how to get this fixed up?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I think the video card has nothing to do with this. Maybe you are running too many programs in the background. I don't know if this helps but you might want check your startup for unwanted programs and disable / uninstall them if necessary.
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Apparently it was the driver I believe. I had one of nVidia's beta drive. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver that came with the card and works perfectly now. Duh on me.
