I imagine they'll have a certain amount a month but they'll probably release a new game or two every week.

i think the good one's will cost mybe more points, like mario might be worth more points then metriod, things like that.
How ya doing, buddy?

I've read in a blog that GC games look better on the Wii somehow. Does anyone know something about that? FELIPE NO |
![]() Hopefully this hasn't been posted yet, but nice job proof reading there buddy. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |

I'm sure by turn off the TV, they meant broadcast television where you just sit and watch it. It's poorly worded, yes, but it's not complete nonsense.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Sorry to move off what you guys are talking about here but I've got a question. With every system that I've got from Nintendo I've always purchased the product replacement plan but I've been fortunate enough that nothing has malfunctioned with any of my systems. That said, should I get the plan with the Wii? I'm trying to save a little bit of money on launch. What are the chances that the Wii might have defects on launch?

I'd get it anyway. I find the $40 to be a rather soothing assurance of quality.
Only if you don't get it will it break (Hey there Murphy's Law!) I was speaking idiomatically.

Guys excuse my ignorance, but...is there any way to get Wii online via a wired connection? I have four different pc's set up in different rooms and I'm really don't know how to make a single online connection stay wired in three rooms and wireless in the fourth room with the Wii.

'Regular 2 years'? Aren't warranties (especially in America) like 30 days or some bullshit?
But yeah, that's an extended warranty of sorts. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |

There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I usually buy one for every console, but I'm not really worried about the Wii. I rarely have any trouble with my Nintendo consoles breaking down, so there probably won't be any issues. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
I've never bought any extended warranty and stuff. The regular, limited warranty here in the US is usually 1 year. It's 30 days for a refund, but you can return the thing for up to a year. Then again, it depends on which vendor you bought from.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Every Nintendo System that's come out has been pretty damn sturdy and won't break easily. But I really haven't seen a torture test for the Wii. I was speaking idiomatically. |

I hope they haven't changed at all, then i'd have to keep my Cube out to play them properly. All i've heard is that the loading times have been decreased by 4-6 seconds in some GC games when played on Wii.
FELIPE NO |
Then again, maybe it's just the games I have. I don't recall the following games having load times...at least not a loading screen... Mario Party 4 Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Mario Power Tennis Super Smash Bros. Melee had a loading screen, but that took all of 2 seconds max. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I wasn't aware of loading times either, until my recent purchases of Timesplitters 2 and NBA Street 2. The sudden need for load times just took me by surprise, but I can't say they're long enough to warrant complaints. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Well I'm hoping the Wii might be able to fix the frame rate issues of games such as Star Fox Adventures and whatnot (Tony Hawk 3 had pretty had frame-rate issues too). I wasn't able to appreciate those games properly.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I have another inquiry, I read somewhere in internet land that WiiPoints can be attained by buying retail games, any reports on how many you get?
I went to a Wally World today and asked about the system in question, and being a 24 hour place I decided that this will be the better place to get it, though mostly I dont feel like wait some eight hours later at a Best Buy. Spoiler:
I, for some reason, forgot to ask about the line policy, as in lounging around for hours on end. Saturday, 6PM sharp, I'll see you there! This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
