I didn't expect Auburn to go undefeated this year, I just haven't been nearly as impressed with them as so many other people seemed to have been, but I so didn't expect them to lose to Arkansas. I expected them to be able to rattle the freshman quarterback Mustain, but it really didn't matter since Arkansas ran the ball something like 30 out of their 32 last plays. McFadden, Felix Jones, and the Arkansas offensive line basically dominated the game.

Wow. Auburn lost. And USC barely won. Nevertheless, this will probably mean USC will be #2 now.

Bye bye Auburn. *cough*overrated*cough*

If I remember, we beat Arkansas 50-14.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Damn? USC is still #3? How did Florida jump from #5 to #2?

I wonder how the BCS ranking is going to be like. Isn't it coming out this week or something?

Did you see the game UF had against LSU?? the second half, they pretty much dominated them. it doesn't hurt to ahve a few turnovers go your way as well.

I watched the game while tailgating at the UGA/UT game. now, as a devoted UGA fan, i can't support Florida, but with their schedule the way it is, there is no doubt that they should be #2. USC??? come on man, look at the conference!!! hands down, and most analysts will say the same thing, the SEC is the best conference in football. UF still has to play Auburn saturday night in AU and UGA Halloween weekend. if they escape, which i hope they don't, they'll be #2 definitely and parhaps get a few #1 votes as well.

I'll keep this short about the UGA game: I knew we were underdogs going into the game (2.5) and i even took that bet, so i did win money. however, it was very fun as always, above average first half (except for the UT td before half). it's funny b/c that game was the reciprocal of the way they've played all year. For the first games of the season, their D was stauch and tghe offense poor. it was the opposaite this time. it's the 2nd time EVER Georgia gave up 50+ points. YES, they're overrated so this defeat didn't surprise me, but it did disappoint me.
The Punt return and Kickoff return were so exciting!! if any of you watched it, you know how loud it was. it was freakin crazy!
i'm hoping for a 9-3 season. i expect us to lose to UF and Auburn. as long at we beat Geogia Tech, and get a good bowl, i'm happy.

Overall, college football live is WAYYYYY better than NFl live and i've been to at leat 6 games of college and NFL. If you have the chance to see a Division I-A team live, don't hesitate. from the tailgating, the HOT babes (of the SEC), the non-stop alcohol, it doesn't get much better than that.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AUBURN BEAT FLORIDA. TIME TO WAVE THE BIG ORANGE AND BLUE AU FLAGS.

Where was this last week against Arkansas? Huge huge win for Auburn, and a huge loss for Florida. And what's up Georgia fans, Vandy stepping up today.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

This is all i'll say about UGA: we're so terrible. i expected us to lose last weekend to UT, but this is unbelieveable and UNACCEPTABLE. for the D to let VANDY drive down the field w/2:30 left is uncalled for. totally overrated. that is all. plus, we COULD lose to Mississippi State next week. jesus h.....

For those who haven't had the debatable pleasure. Since Miami was involved, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Even if FIU started it this time.

The color commentator sounded like he was more enthusiastic about it than some of the players.

Good one. Even if UGA still has the inside at winning the #5 spot on the Bottom 10 this week, they're not bad enough that Mississippi State should give them a challenge.

Speaking of rankings, with Florida losing, I have to wonder if the polls will finally move USC up to #2, or if they'll move Michigan past them. I personally think Michigan should get it, but enough of the voters may think differently.

Damn. 2 points. I can't believe this happened. Our team played great 4rth quarter. But we were down too many points to make a rally. I wasn't expecting USC to be undefeated, but to an unranked team?

At least USC is above Cal and Notre Dame. At this rate, we'll definitely go to one of the four bowl games.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

USC has to win against Cal before it can start thinking of playing (probably) Michigan, and this year, they may not even do that. Not to mention, being 8th in the BCS standings doesn't guarantee them anything, since Boise State seems well on its way to qualifying, and the top three ACC teams are all ranked below USC at present.

On the plus side, I hear the weather in San Diego is wonderful.

Of course, the BCS is going to get shaken up tonight anyway.

Some big upsets this week: on Thursday #15 Rutgers beat #3 Louisville 28-25, today unranked Georgia beat #5 Auburn 37-15, and unranked Arizona beat #8 California 24-20. This helps Notre Dame. They're ranked #9 in the BCS. The beat Air Force 39-17. Though, Notre Dame is lucky that Air Force didn't score more points, Notre Dame gave up 405 yards on defense. Notre Dame better step up its defense big time if it wants to have a chance to beat USC in the last game of the season. #6 Florida escaped defeat at the hands of South Carolina. They won 17-16 by blocking a last second field goal attempt by S. Carolina.

Another upset, unranked Kansas State beat #4 Texas 45-42. Game just ended. This week four top eight teams lost, three of them to unranked teams.

So some crazy shit happened this week. Now we're (USC) ranked #3. An actual chance at the championship game. And this week is Ohio v Michigan game, meaning one of those teams is going to drop in ranking, which probably means it will push USC to #2. That is considering we beat Cal, which I'm confident since it's a home game.

College Football is just boring. For me, anyway.

For the most part. I'm a Michigan State student/fan. The team was looking good until they blew it against Notre Dame, then Illinois got their first conference win in a couple years against us, and it's just gone downhill from there. Add to that, two of our top rivals are both strutting around with undefeated records, and it makes this college football season a very dismal one around here.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It looks like Ohio and Michigan are having a rematch at the championship. Bah.

We're guaranteed the Rose Bowl now.

Is there any chance that USC can be bumped up to #2? Or is it too late?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Dance party!
