Own my own resturant or candy store.

That and raise a family of my own.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

My advice to anyone entering college: go undeclaired for the first year. I don't give a fuck if you think God predestined you be a Math major and that you'd be completely horrible at anything else you can possibly imagine. I don't care if Math was the only subject you liked at school and the only subject you took honors courses in. Go underclaired and take a bunch of random classes on random topics. You still get Gen Ed credit. Major in the one with the subject matter you enjoy the most. Realize that you really don't know jack shit out of High School even if you'd like to think you do, and more importantly realize your interests and ideas will probably change a lot. Changing your mind and opinions on things can happen radically and unexpectedly. If you go underclaired and end up spending an extra year in college, who cares? You might discover a new passion that you'd never have expected to persue.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I speak from experience though. I took the path of a Music Education major, which basically should be a 5 year degree but they cram it into 4 years. This means the only real Gen Eds I could take were in my senior year. And low and behold, that was the year I took a class in Chinese religion. It was the most enjoyable class I had in my four years of college, not just because the professor was good but because I truly enjoyed the material we covered and the topics we discussed. I should've been a religion major. *CRIES*

Actually, things aren't too bad for me now. I'm student teaching (which means basically working full time at a school but not getting paid for it) and I've finally learned the trick to teaching music. Only took me 4 months of student teaching to figure it out ; ; But I enjoy it a lot now. Maybe I won't be miserable for the rest of my life

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I asked this question to someone way more intelligent and better suited to answer - Chuck Palahniuk. I'll let you know what he says when he mails me back.

How ya doing, buddy?

Excellent. When I enroll in college, the first thing I'm going to do is march straight up to every single one of my professors and announce, "I AM GOING UNDER CLAIRE'D!" ... which will be especially effective if my professorette's name is Claire.

Impressive. Do let us know indeed. I suspect it will be fairly interesting.

At this point in my life, I like to think that by the time I'm done for, I'll have done whatever was in my power to eternally exist in memories as an "extraordinary" person.

What exactly things that I can do within my power, though, I'm not sure yet. ^_^

Yeah well this Select Start thing you're a part of is definitely a step in the right direction. You are a goddess. Uh...
...I mean that in the least flattering way possible, of course.

The sooner you commit suicide, the less disappointed you'll be.

I'm a Midi Applications major. I intend to dedicate myself to a career in composing video game soundtracks and lending my electronic flare to the couple of music projects I'm involved in. Maybe eventually go pro DJ.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Going from what FallDragon said about discovering new things at college that's exactly what happened to me, I found just working with computers was boring as hell since you just ended up doing the same things all the time, even now I still end up doing tech support style favours for people and it gets annoying how many people don't even understand basic concepts like virtual files inside virtual folders.

I always had better grades in art anyway so now I'm trying to combine the 2 although improving drawing is proving hard right now with the damn studies, so my long term plan I guess is to leave some awesome artwork behind to inspire others and try to live life inbetween

1) design and build my own alternative energy fuel cell system and run a company making it

2) start my own consumer electronics company making audio equipment

3) Lobby for homosexual rights

4) find a boy freind to live the end of my days with

5) become a better pianist and violinist

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm not really sure myself.

I'm not in any branch of christianity, but there are things I feel I need to atone for - people that I've wronged.

Everything I feel I need to do before I die would be, for the most part, sentimental. It would put these thoughts and "demons" in my mind to rest once and for all.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I've gotten some of the things I wanted. I got a wonderful family with great kids, I got to be a manager (something I didn't want to do until I realized I could do it better than the person who was my boss at the time), I got a black belt in karate, I traveled to Indonesia and Singapore.

I always wanted to be an astronomer and didn't achieve that. I got to work with computers instead (not a bad thing) and enjoy astronomy as a hobby now, but I always have that nagging "I wish I was..." in my head. I also wanted four kids but have two. They are super great though and I couldn't have asked for better ones. Lots of positives in my life for sure.

The things I still want to do: write a book, spend time in Japan, visit Austria and Switzerland, learn to speak and read Japanese (I'm starting on that now) and to be pretty healthy all my life. There are many other things but those are the big main ones that I can share with you.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

There's a large difference between what I want and what I think I'll actually have time to attain.

Life is a very short things and you only have so much time to get next to nothing done. Its like you blink and its already a fourth over with.

To answer the question though, I hope to be happy in the end. I don't mean a sunshine bear sort of happy, I'm talking about satisfied with life sort of happy. Whether that means banging any chick that walks until I've reached age 55, or whether that means having fourteen grandchilden around the same time.

The things that make you happy change as you get older, so its difficult to say what I would like to ultimately do.

I guess I want to make a positive change to society. Sounds impossible and childish, but that's what an MBA professor came to lecture about once. I learned a lot about him, despite him being a millionaire.

Finish my Biology Major at the U of M, go to U of PEI and get my Education Degree. Go back to Northwestern Ontario to teach at my old highschool. Get my Masters in Biology through Distance Ed. Take over the family ranch, and do a bit of parasitology research (research interest) while teaching senior Biology in high school, counting down the days until I can snatch my Ontario Teacher's Pension and do anything I want....

How ya doing, buddy?
