This Week In Comics (November 8, 2006)

- 52 #27
- Fables #55
- Teen Titans Vol 2 #40
- Ultimate X-Men #76
- Y: The Last Man #51

An average week for me. Can't wait for Y: The Last Man. I'll almost be sad when this title finally ends in a few months. But at the same time, I want to know how all of this happened, and motives (especially for that 'omgwtf' cliffhanger in issue 50).

And Fables is always fun and interesting--as is Ultimate X-Men, Teen Titans, and to a lesser extent, 52.

How ya doing, buddy?

Batman and maybe Supes this week. Otherwise it's pretty light. I'll probably just buy some TPB's or action figures.

Good God I'm so poor.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

GI Joe is the codename for America's highly trained special mission force. Its purpose: to defend human freedom against COBRA. A ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world.

Blah, SFII #5 got pushed back to next week. Anyway, a much lighter week for me compared to previous ones. My list is:

Gen13 #2
JLA Classified #29
Stormwatch #1
Civil War tie-ins
-------Civil War #3 (2nd print, Thor Returns cover)
-------Civil War Thunderbolts Swimming With Sharks
-------Civil War Young Avengers & Runaways #4
Doctor Strange Oath #2
Ultimate X-Men #76
Wolverine Origins #8

Some potential purchases are Bullet Points #1, Complete Metal Gear Solid Hard Cover, and Real Ghostbusters vol 4 TP. I'm probably more likely to pick up the MGS HC, though the price ($55) is kinda wavering my decision, it'll depend on what's included (eg. bonuses, interviews, etc.).

Civil War #5 next week! Gotta make sure I get my hands on a Turner variant, along with the regular cover.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I picked up most of the first MGS comics, and then I realized that I already knew the story. I just couldn't justify buying that comic for Ashley Wood's art. It's too surreal/sketchy of a style to me. BUT, to each their own!

I was speaking idiomatically.
