[Wii] Smash Bros. Brawl

They're exploring new directions by adding Snake. This could be THE true, number one all-star fighter that other video games gravitate towards. Maybe beyond SSB3 the roster will just keep improving further and further...

man am I glad that MGS's creator begged nintendo for his character to be in brawl. he wouldve been there sooner but he asked when Nintendo was way too far into Melee production. anyway I need rumor control,

1.I keep on reading that Shigeru miyamoto said himself that theres a possibility that other 3rd party companies might join in.

2.Ridley in brawl?

3.plans to slow the game down?

4.no more Ice climbers Game and watch() etc.

5.Way less chars.

personally I dont believe it but whats YOUR opinion.

The hell? I don't remember this ever being confirmed at all, and that the rumor was some joke started by some guys over at NeoGAF.

Unconfirmed. It's just speculation. I heard that some people had a radio show with Sakurai or something where he was mumbling snippets and thoughts of what he was thinking on doing but really nothing confirmed yet.

Really? I assumed it was true because Sakuri said it at some point about pulling characters. So, let me get this straight, they're definitely going to pull characters, but we don't know which ones yet, right?

well like I said I didnt believe most of it but I do hope one is true,
the Ridley rumor. theres only one metroid character and yes I know that there arent many metroid characters to put besides dark samus, ridley and one of those soldiers.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Dear god, never, EVER, mention the idea of putting in Generic Characters. I am not going to fight with a Goomba. If the character isn't important enough to have a name, it's not worth putting in Smash bros.

well Ridley should be In it, Its been part of the metroid series since the beginning. appearing as a boss in almost every metroid game. as for the Soldiers I guess youre right lol

But seriously, I wouldn't mind if Dr. Mario (my best) was removed. Like I said before, this should be a drastically different game that only keeps the core elements intact, much like SSBM was to SSB, than it should as SSBM2.5.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

With all the graphical improvements, I'm thinking detailed paintings/drawings.

The little collectible figurines will probably still be there, though. Hey, why not? Nintendo has tons of history.

I always pictured this artwork as being one half of the boxart for a dream game with Sega characters, who are all standing in equal numbers on the other side of it. Then some other third partyers would be parachuting down in between them... I'm really curious about the new characters now. I'm still praying for Little Mac...

Hey, however long it takes to get a perfect quality game out there, I'll wait. This will be huge if it's good, and a huge disappointment if it's not quite right.

We've been spoiled with excellence from the first two games, but what this one comes down to is online play. If it's limited in any way (which we've come to expect from DS online), it will be disappointing.

Still, with the potential availability of patches able to be downloaded to these next gen systems, the game could be updated as long as it's popular.
