Drag-on Dragoon Remix Ideas needed

Hey all! I have finally FINALLY!!!!!! started my Drag-on Dragoon Remix project. Bascially, I really love the music for that game (the 1st one that is....) and like it so much in fact that I decided to start remixing their tunes the same way they did, but using pieces of music from other games as well.

The thing is, I'm not fully sure exactly what games to try and use, because it takes a VERY long time to remix for me, and I want it to be just right, and get the style exactly right, like it was in Drakengard 1, not like it was in drakengard 2.

Games I have already decided to use/started using:

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Lemony Snickets A series of unfortunate events
Lord of the Rings
R: Racing Evolution
Yoshis Story

The above games are games I have already tried and tested their style/pacing for remxing opportunities with the Drakengard music, and they definetly fit.
Those games have styles which can be combined with the Drag-on Dragoon style of music. In fact I have almost finished Chapter Six In the Sky: The Evolutionary Story...(i.e. the music for Chapter 6 in the sky remixed with R: Racing Evolution and Yoshis Story......split into two 8 minute long tracks! I have some serious editing to do as I doubt anyone will want to listen to an 8 minute long track....)

Do you guys have any ideas? Lol, I hope this will go better than the time me and my old school music teacher decided to try and recreate the music using only our school orchestra......

A few games that I have tried, but for me, they have not really fitted this project.....
FFX (Style was more suited to Drakengard 2 than the first 1)
Super Mario Sunshine
Command and Conquer (although I did take some of the foreign chants from ZH)
Chrono Trigger (Some games I just don't wanna touch, y'know?, for fear of drawing anger in some people....besides it's already great on its own)
Beyond Good and Evil
Tales of Symphonia
Skies of arcadia

Bear in mind, I have not fully discarded them. Maybe theres a great track on Skies that I missed huh? Let me know what ya think in any case.

P.S. almost all suggestions will be considered. For example, I am experimenting with Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble, and Chapter 3: on the Ground atm, as well as Devil may Cry - Chapter 9 In the Sky. In fact I may have to fully use the latter....

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I don't really have much in the way of suggestions, but if you're going with something as anti-DoD as Yoshi's Story, I'll suggest Earthbound, Plok, and Mr. Driller.

I'd like to hear what you come up with, it sounds really bizarre but it could be interesting.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Let me get this straight, you're going to use VG music samples to create your own music, am I right? If that's the case, you should listen to Steroid Maximus. He (Foetus) in my opinion one of the best sound manipulators in the business and he uses samples from old movie soundtracks and big band recordings. If you want classical music to do something à la Drakengard, Stravinsky's ballets are a good source.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
