T-Shirts. Whatcha Got?

We all have T-Shirts right? (If you don't please tell us)

What do some of your shirts say? Something interesting? Not offensive? Just plain cool or a nice catch phrase?

I have a Back to the Fifties Shirt from Minneapolis, MN from 2005 and 2006. They are very catchy.

I have three University One Orientation shirts - 2004 is Blue, 2005 is golden, and 2006 is green. My favorite is the 2005 one. I hope to get a t-shirt next year as well. I also have a Borderland Racing Association Volunteer shirt, Two UMSU volunteer shirts. I also have a bunch of solid coloured shirts.

Do you think T-Shirts should have something on it? What is your stance on slogans etc., on T-Shirts? Do you wear T-Shirts often? Any other comments?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I hate the shirts that endorse sluttiness in girls -_- like "look at me melons!" written in cheap glittery writing, and the sudden trend from around year 2000 onward of "clever" shirts like "here's a chord, here's another, and another... now go and form a band" they just REALLY irritate me with their weak attempts at observational/clever humour.

Anyway...

I have a green mario shirt with a 1-up mushroom on the front and a zelda shirt which I love.

I also have a metallica tshirt which is 1 of 100 ever made, it was won in a competition when Load was released.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I have a t-shirt with the evolution of man, from the apes to the arcade player.

INSERT COIN.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

eat money?
Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money.

"Everyone is a soldier" written in Mandarin

Othewise I mostly have band shirts, my favorite of which has "Fuck Regurgitator, let's smoke crack!" written on it.

I feel t-shirts reaally say more about an individual than we'd like to beleive. When it comes to writing of any sort, be it a logo or slogan, you are essentially endorsing that by wearing it and identifying yourself with it. What's more you PAYED to endorse this, not the other way round.

So far I have:

1. On Back: Quit Following Me ; On Front: STOP IT!

2. Rub my belly for good luck!

3. I am in shape. Round is a shape.

That's all I have at the moment.

I have several t-shirts. They don't have clever sayings on them, because I hate the vast majority of those shirts.

My two favorite? My dinosaur shirt, which is white and covered with very detailed drawings of dinosaurs (colored green), and my anatomy shirt, which is a tight, tan shirt that has most human organs and major arteries emblazoned on the front, approximately where they would actually be in one's body.

I have mostly band shirts, but I also have quite a few game related shirts as well.

Band Shirts

Tool - One has the logo in front and the wrench on the back which looks like a penis. I have another one that is white and has some of the typical Tool graphics on the back.

Nile - This is for In Their Darkened Shrines album. I got it on the first Blackest of Black tour.

At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul album shirt. Got it at Metal Devastation.

God Forbid - Got this a few years ago when Gone Forever first came out. The shirt is for the Better Days EP.

Death - Has the Death logo on it, but it's starting to fade. I need another one.

Lamb of God - Has the LOG logo with two M-16s on front. I got it for 5 bucks at Gigantour.

Opeth - Has the Opeth logo in red on the front with the pictures of the bands members as well.

Shadows Fall - It's a long sleeve for the War Within album.

Emperor - In The Nightside Eclipse long sleeve album, which is my absolute favorite.

Pantera - It has a skeleton holding a revolver in both hands, smoking a joint and a bottle of Jack Daniels in his holster.

All That Remains - Fall of Ideals shirt. I got it when I preordered Fall of Ideals

3 Inches of Blood - I got it for 8 bucks at Hot Topic.

Video Game Shirts

Soul Calibur II - I have two of them. They both have the Namco logo on the left breast and I have Ivy and Voldo on the back.

Super Mario Bros. - I have a grey shirt that has Mario and Luigi running away from a Bob-Omb.

Final Fantasy X - I have a FFX that has a summon on the front. Unfortunately it's really big for me.

Zelda - I have a Zelda shirt that I got from preordering Mega Man anniversary collection for the GCN. It has the 8-bit Link on the front holding up his sword.

Mario Kart Double Dash - It has nothing on the front, but has a small graphic of the game on the back.

Warioware Inc. - It is blue and has Wario on the front saying "I"ve got more swag than you."

Metroid Prime - It's a olive green shirt that has Samus' name on the front and a slogon about bounty hunters on the back. I think I got it when I preordered Metroid Prime 2.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

My cousin bought me a T-shirt that says, "Male Escort Service" . . . yeah, I've definitely only worn it once; for one thing I don't like T-shirts that have things to read on them and the shirt is just plain embarassing to wear.

I have tons of t-shirts but my two favorites ones are this green one with elephants and an old shirt from 3rd grade. The green shirt has yellow elephants all over with a single yellow elephant and while it's ridiculously misshapen after years of use, I still wear it, awkward as it is.

I also have a bright yellow t-shirt from my childhood, when I was on a youth basketball team called The Arcadia Optimists. It's hilarious and it's the perfect size for a girl's t-shirt, I actually recall it coming down to my knees back when I first got it.

I don't wear t-shirts that much simply because it's not my "style" anymore but there's nothing like a good t-shirt.

I printed 10 of these to wear to the Star Wars: Episode III premiere and only like 6 of my friends took one. I had 4 leftover and I can't find them anymore and I kind of feel bad because a few people here were promised a cheesy Spanish slang t-shirt and never got it.

I've got some gaming ones. One white tee with the Xbox logo. One white tee with the Xbox 360 logo. One black tee with the Halo 2 logo on front, and on back it says "Go Earth. 11.09.04"

I have a couple Boondock Saints t-shirts, one longsleeved with "Thy Will Be Done" on the back and "Veritas/Aequitas" on the sleeves, and one shortsleeved with the brothers' prayer on the back and a rosary on the front.

I also have a few with dumb sayings, like "Come on over to my space" and "Yes I have been working out" but I'd have to say my favorite ones are those I got from T-Shirt Hell... seems the link to the second one isn't working though.

"To: Women
From: God"
http://www.tshirthell.com/store/prod...?productid=318

"I (Heart) Transitive Pictograph Verbalizations"
http://www.tshirthell.com/store/prod...?productid=647

PLUS, tons of Linkin Park and Evanescence t-shirts. I'm on the street teams, must represent.

I got a few T-shirts that I bought on my first tripp to N.Y.

Three T-shirts being Black with the texts 'Lick them and they will come.' and 'Can't sleep... Clowns will eat me... Can't sleep... Clowns will eat me'-over and over again.

And the third: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/fru...ons/5aa9/zoom/

Other than that it's just plain T-shirts.

I usually like plain t-shirts more than ones with something on them... but I have this one shirt that says "I'm not as think as you drunk I am" in blurry text... I wore it once when I went out with me friends... everyone thought it was pretty funny.

I've seen many funny T-shirts, with funny phrases. My friend has one that says on the front: "to learn how to keep an idiot busy, look behind" and on the back it says "to learn how to keep an idiot busy, look on front"

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
Hold on just one second....when I signed up for life, this was not what I was expecting. Can I get a refund?

I have quite a few t-shirts, but my favorites are the Clockwork Orange one (the front has silhouettes of the 4 droogs and the first paragraph of the novel, and the back says something to the like of 'the story of a young man whose principal interests are beethoven, rape, and ultraviolence') my Kraftwerk shirt, and my Rammstein shirt. I wore the latter one quite a few times when I first got it.

Aside from those I have some Hello Kitty and Sailor Moon shirts. XD

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I react against this. I don't like projecting my brain in little bitesize pieces in the form of banners or slogans which, in the end, reveal nothing. It's like whoring out parts of your mind indiscriminately, like you're some sort of advertisement for yourself. I extend my feelings not only to clothes - wearing solid colours only - but also to other things, like my room walls; I don't use posters or shit like that.

I plan to display how my clothing isn't intended to say anything about me, by taking pictures of these bare walls, and then having them transferred onto my t-shirts.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Most of my t-shirts don't have anything on them. They're all solid colors. I do have a few that say, "La hoja de coca no es droga," with Bolivia right underneath. Then I have different shirts that say, France, Germany, Mexico. Yup.
