Easy switching between network config
Finally got myself a laptop and of course, it's going places already. Now I'm looking for some (free) Windows tool which allows me to configure multiple network configs (device, dhcp or fixed ip, gateway, dns... all that jazz) and then easily switch between them.
Any recommendations? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I use netsh commands in batch files. For exemple, on my laptop, I have 1 batch file for the wireless network at work, and I have another for my own wireless network at home.
Just google the netsh command and you should be set. Or, I could post some exemples when I get back to work monday (forgot the laptop there =/). Also, found this. It looks easier to use than netsh, but haven't tried it. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
