I pre-ordered mine from the Westbrook location, since it's close to home. They usually get the limited guides (eg. Onimusha 3, MGS3, KH2), hopefully the case will be same for FF12 as I really wanna buy em together for the discount.

20% discount at EB Games for what?

If you buy the game and the guide book at the same time, you got 20% off the guide book. I managed to do this with Okami. I bought the game two Wednesdays ago, then I got the guide just last Friday. Make sure you show them your slip.

However this time, since I'm getting the guide, I hope my preorder can still work, and according to Rei no Otaku, he says yes, for the American EB Games, at least.

I think it was around July or August, around the time I found out that there was going to be a collectors edition at EB games.

Oh no no, not the guide I meant I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition of FFXII. I didn't even know you could pre-order guides as well. I usually just pick those up when I see em.

But 30 days earlier than the release date, how is that possible. I've gotten dvd rips earlier than the dvd release date, but a game? Well whatever gets the game from my mind to my ps2 ;_;
