my god please dont put chars links in megaupload cuz when i enter it just say the file that i want but i cant download it! please use rapidshare or something :S

Everytime I use Rapidshare I have to wait 2-30 minutes between downloads....I've almost never had to wait on Megaupload...am I speaking for everyone or is Megaupload not the better solution of the two? Let me know guys....

Yeah, um, these requests might be a little mundane, I guess, but if you can help me out that would be wonderful. I'm trying to find working versions of SSF2-era E. Honda and T-Hawk. I found a Honda over here, but it crashes MUGEN for reasons which are impossible to discern since I'm not from the moon. If anybody knows how to fix that instead of finding a different Honda, that's fine. As far as T-Hawk goes, I can only find an SFA version, so there's been no luck there at all.

50,000 different Ryus and I can't even assemble a basic SF2 roster.

Yeah its true cuz of ppl who make warehouses are the reason why their are no more good characters being made. Requesting is ok but not making your own site without their permission..

BTW

.... Cyber Woo is a robot monkey from and older NeoGeo monster game beat up but they made him a fighting char of NGBC and has been remade into Mugen........

I am pretty sure that, if the MUGEN community was "dieing" (and judging from the nonsense being poured onto Youtube everyday, it's not), it wouldn't be because people actually want to download the characters instead of having them hidden away on the ass-end of some Fortunecities site. Actually its not "my site" but its my friends. I just kind of told him about this thread and when something isn't working. He doesn't host anything on the site so its more than less providing links to other people's uploads. Mugen isn't dying out, its just when you tap out a video game of fighters, there really isn't room for a whole lot left. Mugen is about fun, its not about glory...get over it. This is the internet, when you post something up, its bound to get pasted all over. Also, when you post something on megaupload, THAT is a form of warehousing (or so I've been told by authors). Its no different coming on this thread which comes up #1 on google. No one here is asking authors if they can post their characters on an easily-searchable forum, so its sort of being a hypocrite to dodge blame. Also Wooshaq, I don't appreciate sarcasm, and I know you're full of it with people you don't like, so if you want to make enemies rather than friends, thats up to you.

the thing i dont get is how can you be mad at other people hosting things you made if those things(sprites and what not) where made by major companies that make the games to begin with. would making the characters for this to begin with be called copyright issues(i dunno)? and i like warehouses cause i came into mugen only about a month ago so over half the characters are no longer on the respective origonal creators site. so where do i go to find these lost characters? well warehouses have em so im happy.

I'm not saying I don't support warehouses, which I do, but he's beginning to buckle under the pressure I guess. Who knows! I will close this thread if this becomes anymore of an issue...also, Lazyguy, why are authors bugging you? Why haven't they tried to get to me? isnt the goal of making a character to allow other people to enjoy it? why go through all the effort to make it if you only wanna allow certain people to use it? im not computer smart enough to make characters of my own so i go online to find characters. and does it really matter weather i get it from a warehouse or from the origonal creator? the people who made the character arent making any money so why do they care so freakin much? even if i get a character from the origonal site i could care less who made it just as long as its a bad ass character.

Guys Request thread, not a Flame thread. Just request chars, stages, screenpacks or anything else mugen related and provide them using megaupload or rapidshare, or by giving the AUTHOR's site. Thats it
