I know this is so cliche, but I have to say "You don't know how it feels" by Tom Petty. It's true! Sometimes it is hard to convey how your life is to others without being misunderstood, or not understood at all. The song just says it right.
My buddy introduced me to Fiona Apple with the song "Paper Bag". This really reminds me of a dancer who was a coworker of mine at the theater. It was the first time I ever had a hot chick flirt with me. She was so hot, that when I tried to ask her out, I got so nervous and anxious that I messed it all up. That was my dove of hope that turned out to be just a paper bag.
