I'll have to go in favor of vboy there's nothing wrong with giving a link to a site that warehouses, they have pretty sweet characters too. The down side of the site is that it's server must be in another country since it takes about 40 minutes to download 1.5 megabytes in my area. I can see what wooshaQ is tyring to say but she is sortof exacerbating things.

Yeah, cause not downloading anything so helps the comunity anyway.

Che, lets just drop Mugen why not?

I'm not saying that no one shoudn't be credited, but it's both ways, Creators should't be stuck up.

You know, if the authors actually bothered to put at least a few English words on their homepages and not have tons of broken links and popups everywhere, people would actually bookmark their sites. Unfortunatley, the vast majority of creators isn't capable to put together a decent homepage with working links for their characters.

So yeah, I'll gladly take these warehouse sites over the author's crappy homepages any day.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It's not like that site removed the authors' names or anything. It would be worse if they distributed those characters and took the claim for making them.

Could someone resend the Darkstalkers pack? The link won't work.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

MrAllex & VBoy - thanks for those character packs!

I envy all the newbies since they can just obtain all these characters from here rather than having to do the grunt work!

WooshQ - I don't agree with warehouses, either. But, all things considered, this forum is starting to turn into one. If we can retrieve hundreds of characters with one download (i.e. game packs), it isn't much different than going to one website and getting characters one at a time. I do think that we should appreciate what the authors have created, but I don't know the best way to other than play their creations.

Everyone else - Get off WooshQ's back! He's been a huge help on these forums for a lot of us. He does have the right to an opinion which you also have the right to debate. But, give this forum some respect! Before these warehouse talks began, we were all playing together fine. Let's get back to that, shall we?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

don't need to change the portraits much. i'm using the same portraits from the character select screen. it works great with Warusaki3 or any other character with their own power meter on the bottom screen.

No problem, I am glad to help MUGEN noobs get chars.

I had no idea what a warehouse was but I do now and honestly, I think it sounds fine. It's like SOLDIER said, they aren't claiming they made the chars.
It's basically just like a more/less convienient (depends on if you're looking for one char or a bunch) version of char packs.

Put the music in the sound folder and add the path to the file.

order sol

i have order sol but don't know how to do the rapidshare and what not so i could send it to some one then they can feel free to rapidshare it for everyone else

it came in a pre-made game and when i tried to put the characters i wanted into my own mugen they get all buggy (falling through the bottom of the screen, sprite sticking when they jump, other wierd stuff) however in the game i got them from they work fine if someone could tell me how to fix this or if it is at all possibe that would be awsome

It's because the character that kicked your ass doesn't have a stage assigned.

To fix this issue add a coma and type: stage/ and put the name of one of the stages you have.

To fix the many problems people have they just have to glance back into the past post and find what there looking for plus they find some good stuff back there if they just look.

the lifebar is behind the portraits. that's probably why you don't see the first few hits on some characters.

try copying the common1.cns from the pre-made game data folder and put it in the character folder that you want to use. then try that character in your own mugen game.
