Inside Man

Well this movie comes out this week and I'm very excited, Denzel hasn't let me down yet and I enjoy most of Spike Lee's films. It also has a great cast such as Clive Owen as the "bank robber" and Jodie Foster plus Willian Dafoe. It looks like a film that may have some twists as well, anyone else gonna see this?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Looks pretty good to me, despite how I think Spike Lee is likely insane.

It's gonna have lots of subtle and not-so-subtle "The Black Knight Man ALWAYS TRIUMPHS!" moments, methinks.

Denzel Washington is one of the most talented, versatile actors in the game. I own pretty much all his movies and I'm definitely going to see this one. The premise of it seems interesting as well. I'm not really big fans of either Clive Owen or Jodie Foster but I'm sure each of them will hold their own. I've never seen a bad movie when Denzel is among the starring roles, so I'm sure that the trend will continue with The Inside Man.

Can't wait for this movie. I don't care how I get to the movies this friday I am getting there to see this :P The thing is, I know there is a deep twist because they showed the bad guy already "clive owen - the bank robber."

Apparently, the twist invovles Jodi Foster's character, or at least she's trying to cover it. She had some subtle villainy in the trailer.

For me, Denzel movies have always been great to watch. I've never been disappointed by any of his movies as well, so this is definitely something I wanna go see.

I've wanted to see this film ever since I saw the trailer when I saw King Kong. Denzel is bad ass and this one looks like it will be dripping with suspense. There's definitely some crazy politics going on that Denzel's character is stuck in the middle of.

Just saw this tonight. I loved it. Every second of the story kept me on the edge of my seat I must say.

Kind of reminded me of a movie like The Usual Suspects. Where you keep on trying to guess what will happen next.

If it gave you the same feeling as The Usual Suspects then I've got to see this film. TUS is one of my favorite films. Damn, I can't wait until finals are over so that I can see this.

I watched this last night. It was excellent. Even though they are two very different movies, I have to say I enjoyed this more than V for Vendetta (in reference to my spot for best film of 2006). The robbery plan was sheer brilliance and the acting was great. It always held my interest and had me wondering what would happen next.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Inside Man is the best movie I've seen in...well, I can't even remember how long. The acting was superb, and Jodie Foster was unbelievable. Also, great music.

I saw the movie some time ago, and it was a decent flick. I probably wouldn't rate it amongst the best movies I've ever seen (I think this may in part be due to the fact that I had seen V for Vendetta a few nights previous to seeing Inside Man... a movie which I absolutely loved and which impressed me so much that my general expectation for movies was bumped a quite a few bars higher)

However, it was definitely solid, with good acting, and best of all it had some intelligence to it.

I was especially impressed by Clive Owen, and after his performance in Inside Man I am really looking forward to seeing Shoot 'Em Up ^_________^

This might be a stretch, but anyone know the title of the hindi song that played at the beginning and end?

I'm not 100% sure (since I haven't actually gotten the soundtrack myself), but it might be "Chaiyya Chaiyya Bollywood Joint" (Written by A.R. Rahman, Gulzar, Panjabi MC - Performed by Sukhwinder Singh, Sapna Awasthi featuring Panjabi MC).

It's track number 27 on the soundtrack It's the only song on the soundtrack whose name screams "hindi"

It was originally from the movie Dil Se played right at the beginning of the film... great scene if you ever have access to it.

I enjoyed the film, although I think the main reason was because I enjoyed the song so much and actually hearing a Hindi song in a theater for the first time made me very excited. The film was well done, but I don't think it was anything so special. I place it a step or two above your average James Bond movie... something you can put on in the background for some good entertainment but you won't feel compelled to watch every second of it. The Jodie Foster character annoyed me a little with the "I can find anything out" but never explaining... just being used to push forward the plot. 7/10 if I were rating it on IMDb I suppose.

I liked it quite a bit, but, yeah, I agree, I could have done without the Jodie Foster character. I wish they had found a different way to make me care about what was in the safety deposit box.

I like Spike Lee, though, and this movie, from the setting to the style, had his technique all over it. I wouldn't buy the DVD or anything, but as far as heist movies go (one of my favorite genres), it is probably one of the best of the last decade. I think I'd only put Ocean's Eleven and The Score above it.
