yea those two downloads ensure that new comers dont have to do a lot of tedious searching or begging to get characters and saves everyone some time in the end. Good Job mrallex

does anyone have the burning osaka stage? ive been looking everywhere for it... if any of you have it it would help me a bunch if you could upload it =P

Would that be the Osaka stage from CvS2? I have that one.

The game crashes alot with no error message, it just crashes.
Is there some sort of patch released i have beta release version 2002.04.14.

Or is there an updated version of WinM.U.G.E.N?

Any help would be nice

Elecbyte went down around 2003, and it hasn't come back up since. Since they never gave out the coding, I doubt that there will ever be an update ever again.

Hmm I've been looking at these "normal-sized" version of Mega Man X and Zero for a while and I can't seem to find them. The ones I do find are the really small SNES sprites that look like ants when compared to SFA or MvC sprites. I've seen pics of them but I can't find where they are hosted. Does anyone know where they are or can you send it to me at: pokeravi@hotmail.com

Also, I'm making Magneto from Children of the Atom, like I said before. I don't think anyone's making it. Thing is, I'm using fighter factory, and the tutorials are all in foreign languages. I'm using this Magneto by Nobuyuki from X-Men vs. Street Fighter as a basis.

The sounds he uses from COTA and the sprites are all there, I just need to code them in, but I don't know how to do that. I already figured out how to code in the sound, but I have no idea how to code in the animations. Any help would be appreciated.

I take it you didn't get his post. It has nothing to do with your version, you can fix the crashing, but we need more info.

A common problem is a bugged character.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Are there any sites with an extensive dedication to MUGEN stages?
I've just about squeezed every last link out of random select, mugenation, and the mugen guild as well as links of links.
I would like to fill up my selection options (preferably original stages) since I wiped out the 200 stages so that I could customize with music I love with stages I like.

I have a technical question concerning the M.U.G.E.N. engine:

I started making my own collection of fighters and stages by manually adding them one by one to the raw copy of MUGEN /w no limit patch (or whatever). The problem I'm having is that background music in MP3 is stuttering like crazy.

Do I need to install a different plugin or something? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You dump everything in the data folder, then go in the EVEvolve folder, copy the select & system files, paste them in the data folder.

-10fenix you need to assign some stages to your characters and this will remove the random crashing problem.
-Wooshaq i like what you did and i looks good although is the screen supposed to stay red like that???
-Rock to stop the sound from doin that you go to your control panel. Then to sound speech and audio devices. Then to sound and audio. Then from speaker settings pick advanced and performance then turn the hardware acceleration to none. This should stop the chopy sounds.
-Summonmaster you should try conversion world and shin akuma's site for stages if you havent hit them up already.

I have a question...I have mugen all char. battle zero and every now and then I get this error "Assert failure in charsel.c line 3162". Does any one know why this happens..and is there a fix for it?

Any help would be awsome.

I don't know exactly, but I reckon it has to do with your select.def. My guess is you put the folder name but the .def of the char is a different name.

Take a look at that, then if it doesn't work I'll try to help some more.

yeah..thats not it at all...I really don't know what it is...my chars are all fine...and as far as I know my stages are all good. So I'm flabergasted..lol.
